Filey Museum consists of eight rooms, each one dedicated to a different aspect of local life and work, which was common place in Filey until comparatively recent times, plus a sheltered garden. The buildings are the oldest domestic buildings in Filey, as shown by the date 1696 above one of the doors.
The winner of best small visitor attraction award three years running, the museum is well worth a visit – something for everyone!
The Museum is located in the older part of town not far from the 12th Century St Oswald’s church.
