Ford Park Ulverston
Ford Park is a charity-run park in Ulverston with plenty to do for all the family. With open fields, woodland, trails, a wildflower meadow and orchard, there’s plenty of space to burn off some energy and get back in touch with nature.
Whatever time of year you visit, you’ll find a feast for the eyes from the bright dahlias in summer to the golden hues in autumn. You’ll also find a rich variety of wildlife here, some of which you’ll be able to spot during a walk along the waymarked nature trail.
For little ones, there is an adventure playground, brimming with natural features and specially built play equipment.
The perfect way to round off a day at Ford Park is with a meal at Base, the onsite restaurant. Utilising ingredients taken directly from the kitchen garden and other local produce, you can enjoy fresh and contemporary dishes here.
