Giant’s Causeway
The Giant’s Causeway is a beautiful natural wonder that seems like it belongs in another world. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is known for its hexagonal basalt columns that look like they are coming out of the sea.
It is located on the rocky coast of Northern Ireland. Local tradition says that the causeway was made by Finn McCool, a giant who needed a path to meet his Scottish counterpart in battle.
When people go to the Giant’s Causeway, they get a surreal experience as they walk through the interlocking stone structures while the North Atlantic Ocean waves crash around them.
You can even bring your dog (on a lead) to see the wonders with you. There is a tourist centre and a café at the site, making it a nice place to learn about geological history and have a refreshment.
Additionally, three trails invite explorers to go further and find out more about the beautiful coastal scenery around them. Why not embark on a Giant’s Causeway tour? There are several running throughout the day here.
Come and witness the awe-inspiring beauty of Giant’s Causeway…
