Glenridding Sailing Centre
Take to the water at Ullswater with the Glenridding Sailing Centre. You can take an RYA sailing course, book the kids in for a Swallows & Amazons style adventure or hire a boat and take to the water solo.
The hire fleet available at Glenridding Sailing Centre includes double and single kayaks, Canadian canoes, sailing dinghies and gaff-rigged traditional sailing boats.
If you don’t have time to do a full two-day RYA sailing course, why not book a taster session? Everyone from beginners to experienced sailors can book a short session with an experienced and friendly instructor who will show you the ropes or sharpen your existing skills.
Children’s activities include an RYA youth course, kids sailing weeks and a Swallows & Amazons style adventure.
