Directions

  1. Start this walk on Easdale Road, following North before taking the first right after passing over the Easedale Beck onto Helm Close.
  2. Follow this path all the way up for 0.7 mile, leading you past the River Rothay on your right.
  3. At the end of the road, take the left (leading you away from Higher Broadrayne).
  4. Follow the route, bearing left after 0.3 mils and again 0.2 after this. Continue along the route, still bearing left where possible before heading South to reach Helm Crag.
  5. To return to Grasmere, simply follow the route South from Helm Crag until you re-join Easdale Road again
