Kelsey Head
Kelsey Head is situated in North Cornwall, just over two miles from Newquay. It starts at Holywell beach and ends at the headlands of Pentire Point West. The South West Coast Path runs through the site and much of the coastline is owned by the National Trust. Invertebrate species and colonies of seabirds inhabit the area.
Kelsey Head is also the site of earthwork remains of a cliff castle, dating to the Iron Age. Visitors can find evidence of earth and stone ramparts and a smaller annexe at the cliff castle. Views look across to Chick Island and cameras are essential to capture the stunning vistas.
