Llandegla Fishery
Head to Llandegla Fishery for fishing, mountain biking, bird watching and more. Situated within the Welsh hills, there’s a whole host of outdoor activities to get stuck into here.
Coed Llandegla mountain bike centre is just 100 yards away from the fishery while the RSPB centre is within the nearby forest. Llandegla shooting ground, gliding club and horse-riding centre are all within three miles.
Despite having so much to offer within the area, it’s the fishing that attracts visitors to Llandegla year after year. There are six fishing lakes onsite that range from family fun pools to those for the serious fisherman.
There are two trout pools teeming with rainbow, brown, tiger and gold trout as well as rudd. There are also two coarse lakes stocked with mirror and common carp, barbel, tench, bream, roach, rudd, crucian caru and chub and a further worm fishing lake. Finally, there is an intimate family pool offering a fun and informal introduction to fishing that’s perfect for children.
Look forward to a calm outing at Llandegla Fishery…
