This is a fairly challenging 7.4-mile walk that takes in part of the South West Coast Path from the Looe Estuary to the lovely smuggler’s beach at Talland, before circling inland to reach the fishing town of Looe.

Directions

  1. From Millpool Car Park in Looe, follow the Giant’s Hedge route passing through Kilminorth Woods – this Local Nature Reserve offers a range of wildlife to spot at any time of year
  2. After exiting the woods, join the country lane presenting an uphill climb, crossing the road at Parker’s Cross. Turn right at the Tencreek Holiday Park and head down towards Talland Bay, welcoming dogs at any time
  3. After a sandy stroll, walk east along the Coast Path towards Looe. This leads you around Hore Point and offers views towards the stunning Looe Island
  4. Hannafore Point marks the final leg of this circular Cornwall walk, leading you up the western banks of the East Looe River and back to Millpool Car Park
