Nantporth North Wales Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve
Follow the Wales Coast Path into Nantporth North Wales Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve.
Here you’ll find a canopy of coastal ash woodland consisting of whitebeam trees, oak, birch, and aspen. In the spring you’ll find wood anemones and primroses carpeting the woodland floor ahead of the blooming of the trees in summer.
The trees provide a magnificent habitat for a range of birds including blackcap, redshank, and oystercatchers.
Nantporth sits alongside the Menai Strait and tidal conditions must be considered before visiting. Paths through the woodland are narrow and steep and extra care is advised during wet weather.
Nantporth North Wales Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve promises to be a great day out…
