Old Sardine Factory Heritage Centre
The original sardine factory dates back to the 19th century but was restored in 2018 and now houses a heritage centre, coffee shop, climbing wall and restaurant. At the heritage centre visitors can learn all about Looe’s harbour, river and bridges and the significance of sardines.
The coffee shop has peaceful views of the river and sells homemade cake, light bites and Cornish cream teas created with local produce.
The restaurant has a contemporary coastal vibe and visitors can enjoy fresh and innovative dishes, including fish caught daily in Looe.
In the climbing area, there are six roped climbs and a low-level traversing wall. The climbs are suitable for beginners and experienced climbers.
Come and enjoy this historical attraction with its array of activities on offer…
