Painswick Rococo Garden
Want to experience beautiful architecture and landscaping from the early 1700s? Come to Painswick Rococo Garden in The Cotswolds.
This beautiful outdoor space is situated a stone’s throw away from Stroud. It’s made even more special by the fact that it’s the UK’s only complete surviving rococo garden!
When it comes to visiting Painswick Rococo Garden, you don’t need to pre-book. The garden is open daily during school holidays, however, there are restrictions during term time.
There are entrance fees for the garden, and children under the age of four can visit for free; making it a great choice for families. Well-behaved dogs are also very much welcome here!
Due to the garden having steep and uneven paths, it is not suitable for those with limited mobility. The café and shop are accessible for buggies and wheelchairs, with accessible toilets also provided.
There are so many gorgeous sights within the garden, including a winding maze and the renowned snowdrops. The latter make an appearance in January.
An array of events also take place here, such as talks explaining the attraction’s history and special events, including the Enchanted Garden trail.
Enjoy a day out to remember at Painswick Rococo Garden…
