Peasholm Park, Scarborough
The beauty of Peasholm Park is show-stopping and can be seen all-year-round. This free, dog-friendly landmark in Scarborough is a marvellous day out for all the family.
During the summer months, hire a boat to enjoy the lake, ranging from traditional rowing boats, canoes and pedalos. At the centre of the lake, you will find an island where a path offers picturesque views from its impressive pagoda. Sometimes music performances can be enjoyed here, free of charge.
Another highlight of the park must be its wooded area. Here, you can enjoy walking along numerous trails until you come across a natural stream. The stream runs off into small waterfalls and ponds; charming backdrops for a picnic!
The most popular trail in the park is the Tree Trail. Walk along this marked path to come across a variety of trees, from American Red Oaks to Eucalyptus.
Additionally, Peasholm Park offers two cafés where ice creams and light lunches can be enjoyed, making for a lovely end to your visit.
Enjoy a serene day out to remember at this wonderful park…
