Pentewan Beach is owned by the holiday park that sits behind it but it’s open to visitors for beach days. The beach faces East into St Austell Bay and is sheltered and generally safe for swimming.

Watersports are popular here with equipment available to hire from the holiday park. Activities include surfing, windsurfing, canoeing and dinghy sailing. There are amenities at Pentewan village just 500 metres away, allowing visitors to use the toilet and grab snacks during their visit.

Dogs are not allowed at Pentewan Beach during the peak season.
