Plas Brondanw Gardens
Created by renowned 20th-century conservationist, environmentalist and architectural designer, Sir Clough Williams-Ellis, Plas Brondanw Gardens attract thousands of visitors every year. With its unique and distinctive landscape and position in the Snowdonia National Park, it’s easy to see why.
The gardens are laid out as a series of rooms, linked by axial views leading to distant peaks. Within each of the garden rooms, you’ll find unusual art and sculptures, much of which was found my Clough himself at reclamation sales.
Plas Brondanw Gardens are strongly influenced by the renaissance gardens of Italy. The influence can be seen in the stone walls, topiary, pools, fountains and lines of trees leading to the stunning landscape beyond.
Other features include a woodland walk and a spectacular cascade and pool built into a disused quarry.
Make fantastic memories on a day out at Plas Brondanw Gardens…
