Porth Ceiriad

Porth Ceiriad

Backed by grassy headland and situated near the end of the Llyn Peninsula, Porth Ceiriad feels a million miles from the hustle and bustle of nearby tourist towns.

With parking a twenty-minute walk away, a walk through fields and down a steep set of steps is required to access this cove, but the golden sand and clear blue water make it all worthwhile.

Waves more powerful than neighbouring Hell’s Mouth make Porth Ceiriad a popular spot with more experienced surfers and the bay is often teeming with kayaks and yachts.

For those simply looking to relax, there’s plenty of golden sand to set up for the day on – just remember to pack a picnic!

Dogs are welcome at this beach all year.

This a lovely beach you can enjoy with all the family…
