Prestatyn Beach
This north-facing sandy beach is a hit with thrill-seekers thanks to its large tidal range. Whilst sunbathing here, you’ll spot plenty of surfers, windsurfers and sailboats.
A four-mile-long promenade runs along the beach and connects the sandy stretch to Ffrith and Barkby beaches. The promenade is also part of the North Wales Coast Path, making it an ideal stopping point for walkers and cyclists.
This blue flag beach has parking, toilets, a play area, a leisure centre and traditional seaside amusements. There are also plenty of pubs and eateries in the Prestatyn town centre.
