The Pugneys Country Park walk is a wonderful family-friendly route. An easy walk with ideal terrain for prams and wheelchairs, this walk is perfect for all abilities, being just 1.6 miles long.

Pugneys Park also accepts dogs on leads – be sure to check out their famed ‘Dog Wash’. You’ll also find plenty of entertainment for the little ones including Pugneys Light Railway.

Directions

From the car park turn left to take the path closest to the lake. Continue along the route, passing the children’s playground to your left.
Follow the path, passing trees both to your left and right, and bear right where possible to keep on the path closest to the water.
Continue along the main path for 0.6 miles. After this, you will pass another body of water on your left.
Pass a BBQ area to your right before reaching Pugneys Light Railway. Carry on to pass the café and arrive back at the car park.
