This beautiful and historic place is perched on Pepper Street, in the heart of Chester. It’s free to access and rests moments away from the City Walls; the perfect pit stop!
The Roman Gardens, Chester date back to 2,000 years ago. They feature remains of important military buildings, such as baths and headquarters.
Nowadays it’s a wonderful place for a sit-down, with benches and grass patches aplenty. The open-air cinema of Moonlight Flicks also takes place here during the warmer months.
