Shanklin Beach
A safe and sandy beach on the southeast coast of the Isle of Wight, Shanklin Beach is an excellent place for families seeking a day at the seaside.
The beach backs onto Shanklin Esplanade, where you can expect many traditional amusements. Crazy golf, go-karting, arcades and bowling are just a few of the things you can do here!
Alternatively, you can look forward to simply kicking back and unwinding on Shanklin Beach’s golden sands.
After paddling, beachcombing or sunbathing, why not go for a walk along the promenade? Additionally, Shanklin seafront is dotted with an assortment of pubs and eateries for you to visit. Further along the beach is a slipway, where you can grab a delicious ice cream to take away.
Shanklin Beach welcomes dogs between October-April, so you can look forward to a coastal hike! You can turn this into a longer walk by wandering into the nearby Shanklin Chine.
Enjoy an idyllic day out at this beautiful beach…
