The Edinburgh Dungeon
You can find The Edinburgh Dungeon on East Market Street in the city centre. This scary attraction takes you around the city’s underground tunnels and offers a tour with 10 shows from trained actors.
From the Judgemental’s Courtroom to Sawney Bean’s Cannibal Cave, there are plenty of performances to spook you down here! You’ll be able to learn about Edinburgh’s notorious characters, including the accused witch of Agnes Finnie.
A highlight of the dungeon has to be Edinburgh’s Vaults, a mirror maze filled with jump scares. Alternatively, the Galloway Boat Ride is also worth partaking in; here, you can spot shadowy figures lurking in the caves.
The Edinburgh Dungeon tour is equally as funny as it is frightening; packed with tongue-in-cheek humour to draw laughs from all! At the end of the tour, you can enjoy an extra thrill by riding the renowned Drop Ride.
If you want to challenge yourself to a scarier experience, the attraction also hosts The Edinburgh Dungeon Lates. This is an adults-only tour, occurring every Friday evening.
