• "The property was fantastic, and reflected everything in the description, we were not disappointed."

  Brilliant open plan kitchen and lounge with great facilities. The main bedroom was superb with an amazing view. Back garden was again well set out and the hot tub was definitely used after a day of walking. You could also not fault the location with the beach and beautiful Sennen Cove 15 minutes walk away. Overall we had a fantastic few days in a great property in a beautiful part of the UK.

• "Beautiful house and beautiful setting."

  We had a fabulous week here and would love to come again. Sennen Cove is stunning and easy to walk to. Weather was sunny and hot we were lucky for September. Everything was spotless and the Spa was hit and clean. A wonderful place!

• "Lovely stay at seascape, the sun facing balcony was a lovely aspect."

  Fully kitted out with everything you could need for a comfortable holiday. The car charger was also a lovely additional that helped us out massively with the 10 hour drive home!

• "Absolutely stunning property."

  I cant fault anything about it. Clean, spacious, modern, comfy, and in a great location to explore west Cornwall. Unfortunately the weather was not kind to us for end of July, but all that means is we will have to return again and will rebook this place when we do.

• "Few issues which have been stated by a few customers."

  1. Mattress in master bedroom could do with being changed as there was a huge dip on the side nearest the en suite. 2. Pillows in master bedroom have seen better day need changing. 3. Found black hairs on top of the mattress protector. 4.Sliding Wardrobe doors in master bedroom kept falling off the runners. 5. Shelves in wardrobe were full of black hair's.6. Mirror in main bathroom wouldn’t switch off. 7. Both settee’s have seen better days very uncomfortable. 8. Unit below TV doors had broken doors. 9. Floor in living room felt sticky I had to wash the floor with a dirty mop that was provided and there was broken glass under the sofa.. Sadly, the overall experience did not warrant the premium payment of £3180 for one week , for this price it should have been outstanding. Very disappointing.

You are absolutely correct, it is not a cheap holiday so it is always our aim to make the house perfect for each stay to provide excellent value in a beautiful setting. Occasionally and unfortunately issues are not picked up by our diligent team and we apologise for that, however the housekeeping service is excellent and is always available to assist for those occasions where problems with the house arise. The majority of the issues you raised would have been rectified same day for you had you contacted housekeeping (one of the benefits of booking through Sykes/Cornish Cottage Holidays). Since you wrote this review confirm the majority of these issues have been fixed and a couple are imminent such as the bathroom mirror that needs replacing. With regard to the pillows, they are like that deliberately, there is one thicker firmer one and one thinner softer one as peoples tastes are different with regards to these. Also, we are confused re your comments on the sofas as they are high quality leather sofas and relatively new. If reference is made in relation to the shine, can confirm that is by design and not fault. Would also advise that they were selected with a back high enough to provide good support and a base firm yet not hard. The whole family took part in the selection process so decision was made by a range of ages, sizes and weights. These sofas were the clear winners. We are truly sorry that your week was not up to par, we aspire to make the experience so good that all of our guests wish to visit Sea Scape again like many of our previous guests have in the short time that we have been operating. • "We had an incredible stay at Sea Scape."

  The house includes everything you could possibly want for a comfortable stay. The hot tub is a fab bonus and the property is a short a lovely walk on the southwest coast path down to the beach. We had an amazing time and would love to come back! We were also provided with useful baby/toddler items for our stay - high chair cot and stair gate. Thanks so much :)

• "Lovely property in a stunning part of Cornwall Gorgeous views, beautiful furnishings and the hot tub was fab!"

  Couple of negatives: Previous guests had obviously had a very hairy dog - lots of dog hair still apparent in house and it smelt of dog ( in house and garden). Kitchen has everything you can possibly need - except space to put away your food supplies!

We take cleaning very seriously and our team are highly professional and diligent. Unfortunately there was a very hairy moulting dog prior to you and our cleaners drafted in the rest of the team to get the house ready. Four cleaners and many hours later..... but it seems that they couldn't quite get it all. We are very sorry that we could not get the house to it's usual high standard. We want you to have an excellent holiday experience at Sea Scape so apologies again that we fell short. As for food storage, there are two large shelves next to the oven and a very large silver cabinet for dry food which should easily cater for six people for a week. • "We absolutely loved our stay at Sea Scape."

  The house was clean, comfy and had everything we needed. The hot tub was really good quality and we also liked how secure the garden was for our dog. The house is in a great location. We found plenty to do nearby! Sennen beach is stunning, there are nice pubs within walking distance and bigger supermarkets just a short drive away. We will miss waking up to the views from the master bedroom! Thank you for a lovely stay.

• "Fantastic property, great location and excellent finishing and furnishing."

  The only very small finishing touch we could ask for would be a coffee machine, otherwise everything was perfect.

• "Mainly excellent."

  Just a few small maintenance points: we couldn't turn off the bathroom mirror lights in the en suite and downstairs cloakroom. This wasn't an inconvenience but we thought you ought to know. The bath plug mechanism in the main bathroom didn't work properly making it difficult to empty the bath. There were no tea towels so we had to buy some, and not enough plastic cups for use in the hot tub (we bought some which I think we left in the property). But, as I say, these were very minor points and overall it was a fantastic house.

• "Beautiful holiday home close to Sennen Cove."

  The house is beautiful with high-spec finish and great countryside views. We enjoyed watching the Lands End fireworks from our balcony (I think they're every Tuesday and Thursday during the summer). The hot tub is large and kids loved the garden hammock. It's in a set of six houses so the garden is overlooked by neighbours and sound does travel across the small gardens. Not a big issue for us but if you want complete privacy it may not be for you. The walk to the beach is hard on route back but Sennen is a stunning beach and worth it. Would highly recommend this property.

• "Absolutely fabulous!"

  A wonderful place - utter luxury. The scones were a lovely touch. Great to have everything we needed on arrival. We loved every minute and we will definitely be visiting again. Lovely touch with the dog bowels and blankets. Great place to walk from and fabulous beaches and places to explore. The only thing that would have been useful would be a clothes rack to dry clothes on. I appreciate there is a washer/dryer but given the warm weather it would have been handy for beach wear & towels, quick washes etc. Thank you for a beautiful holiday.

• "My family had a lovely stay at sea scape, the accommodation was immaculate and the beds were so comfortable."

  The kitchen was filled with every accessory you could need , board games available also a little cupboard with dog bowls and blankets . Two adults and four teenagers and there was something for everyone from the hot tub , rooms with there own tv’s and a master room with an amazing view. I would come back again I have come home very relaxed just what I needed.

• "We have enjoyed our Easter break."

  The place was clean and had everything we needed. Hot tub was amazing, however it was only ready the next day as it took time reach comfortable temperature.

• "What a lovely house!"

• "Fantastic luxury modern cottage in a great location."

  We could even see the Land’s End fireworks from the balcony. The owner had thought of everything, kitting it out to the highest standards, and the main living area made for a great sociable space with plenty of room for 2 Adults and 4 older teenagers. We had a great week at Sea Scape!
