  • "What a lovely place to stay!"

The hideaway had all the home comforts that you could need for a perfect stay! Everything was lovely and clean and ideal for a large family! The hideaway was only a short walk into town and to the lovely beaches in Tenby. Local attractions were easily reached and only a short drive away! Ideal place to explore the Welsh coastal path.

Very clean and well equipped. Location was excellent and the allocation of parking is a big bonus with space at such a premium in Tenby. Will definitely be returning and recommending to others.

  • "Excellent location."

An easy walk into Tenby meant we went out for meals in the evening but if we’d chosen to cook there was very little such as Pyrex bowls & a measuring jug. One of the beds only had covers on (no pillow cases) & when we stripped the beds at the end of the holiday although the duvets were clean some were ripped & in need of replacing. A separate bin to leave recycling in would have been useful.

It was very comfortable for 4 adults and 2 children. Comfortable sofa area, kitchen well equipped. Some slight problems with adjusting shower temperature in top floor shower meant the children shared the shower om the lower floor. Overall, a really good place to stay.

Well-equipped kitchen. Bedrooms were all a great size and the two bathrooms were useful for 8 guests. Dedicated parking was helpful. Great position within the town with the town centre and all of the beaches a short walk away. Easy access to get out of town for day trips with lots of child-friendly attractions a short drive away, as well as some excellent farm shops. The property itself is tucked away so very private and quiet (seagulls notwithstanding). The hosts were very responsive, pleasant and helpful. We’ve already booked to come again next summer.

The accommodation suited our needs, 6 mature adults wanting the flexibility of self catering and availability of nearby pubs and restaurants. The place was lovely and toasty and had a real homely feeling. The owners very kindly let us park our cars earlier that the 4pm check in time. Nothing negative to say.

Very clean and comfortable and the place was very warm even without the radiators on. The location was great, 10 min walk into the centre of town, though it was very quiet also. Weather was surprisingly good for November so we were out and about a lot. Overall we loved it.

  • "The approach drive is poorly maintained with potholes."

I appreciate that this may not be wholly under the control of the owners but it is a problem. The lower bedroom generally lacks drawer space with only a shallow drawer below the wardrobe and no bedside cupboards nor chest of drawers. The kitchen lacked jugs/measuring jug and inadequate storage of cutlery and utensils which either fell out out of the upright rack or got jammed in it. The owner provided us with larger saucepans as we could not cater for our party. The property is well located for the town centre and the beach. the beds were comfortable as was the sofa. There were no hooks in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Nowhere to hang a dressing gown for example and only a small towel rail with no other towel rails. One of the windows in the lounge had no curtains or blind. The TV signal was not amplified sufficiently for the TV to receive programme quite frequently.

Perfect location, a short hill to Tenby. Plenty of steps to help burn off the holiday indulgent treats! (We didn’t mind this) house does get very warm very quickly so we didn’t have the heating turned up much on the radiators. Kitchen very well equipped and cakes left on arrival! Would definitely recommend to others, only negative was the noisy bed base’s. But that’s here nor there! Just a little issue when your 25 weeks pregnant getting comfy and trying not to wake a toddler! Lol. Hosts also accommodating in terms of parking with our party! Thank you very much, we will book again in the future!

The apartment is very spacious with everything you would need. We didn’t really use the kitchen because the local restaurants and takeaway are so good but the kitchen was very well equipped. During a very windy half term, the property was very warm. The property was exceptionally clean throughout. Location is brilliant, easy walk into Tenby so no need to move the car. Also, lots of attractions within easy reach. We enjoyed Folly Farm and the Dinosaur park. The two allocated parking spaces are definitely a bonus- very rare in Tenby. Will definitely return.

On the second floor there are 3 more bedrooms and a further bathroom. We had adult sons with us so the set out was ideal. Good facilities, beautifully clean and in a great position for the beach and the town. It was about a 10 minute walk to get to either. Beautiful accommodation, a 2 minute walk from Tenby/ the beach, designated bay parking. There’s loads of lovely little extras- good washer/dryer and dishwasher- tablets/detergents supplied, a nice cake on arrival, really nice towels, Netflix signed in to entertain the kids. Even though we couldn’t get in till 5 we were given permission to park early, after a long drive this was brilliant as we could walk into Tenby. Although the house was clean, we were disappointed to find a dirty grill pan in the oven which also needed a clean. There was dust in places. Bathrooms nice and clean. We also had to put new batteries in remote, so perhaps things like this could be checked. On the whole we were happy with the accommodation, we had a good stay. Many thanks, Jackie Jordan.

The owners were very welcoming leaving us locally sourced bread, butter etc which was a nice touch. Our one major critercism is that the mattreses on all three beds were very uncomfortable and it was apparent that either the springs were worn or they were just poor quality - therefore this impacted the overall quality / restfulness of our sleep. It's only a short walk to all the attractions and beaches that Tenby has to offer. It was our first stay in Tenby and what a fabulous resort it is and although very popular at high season, we never felt crowded in. The two parking spaces that came with the apartment were so important as parking in the area is limited. I highly recommend this property and would definitely go again. It's very quiet and has the bonus of two parking bays - very useful. The property is very spacious, light and clean and well equipped. There were a couple of things that we feel would have made it even better:- We would have liked thicker, fluffier bath sheets as the towels provided were not very big or thick. At least one more tea towel would have been handy as only one was provided. A teapot would have been very welcome as we prefer tea made in a pot and not in a cup with a bag. There wasn't a hairdryer provided. Luckily I took my own but in a property of four bedrooms I think there should have been at least one.
