The property

Banff 1 miles.

This absolutely charming mid terrace stone cottage offers deceptively spacious and pretty accommodation.

Ideal for a couple, family group or group of friends this cottage is just minutes from a lovely sandy beach and the clear crystal waters of the Moray Firth.

A very pretty pathway and front garden lead up to the house and there is a bedroom at ground floor level as well as one on the first floor.

The sitting room has a big comfy corner sofa and welcoming woodburing stove, ideal for those colder evenings in.

The very well-equipped kitchen/dining room has everything required for visitors to make a lovely meal to be enjoyed together around the table.

At the rear is a fully enclosed garden and a gate leading to the rear parking area.

Inverboyndie is a small village that is situated neatly between the larger village of Whitehills and the small vibrant town of Banff, both within easy reach and both providing excellent local services.

The village of Whitehills can be access via a coastal path and after a pleasant walk visitors should pop into the local pub and restaurant for a nice meal before the walk home.

You could also take your car of course!

Banff is a bustling town with an excellent selection of shops and restaurants along with the Marine Aquarium which is well worth a visit!

The north east coastline is a great area to explore with the many fishing villages dotted up its dramatic coastline each with their own history and atmosphere.

From this cottage there is an excellent bus route and if guests want to leave the car they can simply hop on the bus and enjoy the scenery!

This pretty cottage ticks all the boxes and ensure a relaxing and comfortable holiday for all!

BANFF

Fraserburgh 25 miles; Elgin 35 miles; Aberdeen 40 miles.

Banff is a former county town and a Royal Burgh, having received its charter from Robert the Bruce in 1324. The town has been designated an Outstanding Conservation Area and is famous for its outstanding architecture. Banff contains a variety of architecture in a number of contrasting styles, including Georgian architecture that can be found in the upper part of the town. Banff Harbour is now a recreational harbour and marina, and the town boasts spectacular sea views, sandy beaches, shops and seafood restaurants. Duff House, built between 1735 and 1740 is situated in the Deveron Valley, and is thought to be one of Britain's finest Georgian houses. Close by is Duff House Royal golf course and two miles away the neighbouring town of Macduff offers the Royal Tarlair golf course and award-winning Marine Aquarium. Nearby, the old smugglers village of Pennan was used as the location for the movie Local Hero, and its famous phonebox is a listed historical monument. The area also boasts sandy beaches, forest walks, cycle routes, whisky trails, pony trekking and dolphin watching, along with the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses in Fraserburgh and the Portsoy Boat Festival and Turriff Show.
