"The location was perfect close to the beach."
All the locals are really friendly too. The cottage was really nice and snug very clean. There was 2 cons to the cottage.there’s no washing machine would have preferred one to a dishwasher. The plates are to big too big to fit in the dishwasher which makes the dishwasher pointless
we are so happy you had a lovely time in banff , and yes the the locals are a friendly lot, sorry no washing machine, i will look at the size of the plates and may be get some smaller ones.

"Comfortable, well-presented, compact property, conveniently situated in Banff, with good parking and amenities nearby."
We were pleased to meet the property owner, as he arrived just as we were leaving. We were able to flag up the small problems that we had within the property eg. the position of the microwave oven, and lack of mixing bowls for cooking or extra dishes to make the running of the dishwasher more ecologically sound. The main problem was the difficulty in accessing the keys in the key safe, although it did eventually open after a ten-minute struggle and a torn thumb-nail. That problem was solved on our leaving, with his timely arrival as, again, the key safe was giving trouble.

"We had a lovely stay at this well equipped cottage."
Everything was spotlessly clean. However, we couldn't use the microwave as it was inside a cupboard with no light. We thought it was a fire hazard and would have preferred it to be on a kitchen top. We found opening the bedroom window difficult as I had to climb on a chair which was a bit wobbly. It would be useful to have a small caddy for soaps in the shower too. These are only suggestions and we were most comfortable . Thanks to the owners.

"Lovely, cosy and comfy cottage."
Was perfect for my stay whilst visiting my 'home' and my family.
Only slight downside is the proximity to the pub beer garden and the lateness of the noise, but this was only really an issue at the weekend.
so happy you had a lovely stay at meredith cottage, and sorry about the noise for the beer garden, they are normally very considerate about local residence.

"Property more than adequate for our use, parking bay could be improved with cutting the hedge to the left and brushing up the pine leaves as we found they travelled into the house on your feet."
The “nuisance “ heat alarm we found could be solved by toasting only 2 pieces of bread at a time but other than the minor issues mentioned ,yes we would recommend the property to future guests,thanks
Thank you for your feedback, since you brought the hedge and smoke alarm to our attention, we have cut back the tree, and have done a Spring clean to the parking bay. We have had an electrician out to the heat detector.

"Meredith Cottage is delightful."
It is beautifully decorated, has all the facilities you would need and is spotlessly clean. It within walking distance to the town centre and the harbour. Banffshire has many small towns and villages worthy of a visit. We would recommend Portsoy with a lovely harbour and coffee shop and Cullen with its unique Cullen Skink.

"The owners had kindly left a folder with instructions on how to use the appliances and nearby attractions."
The cottage was very clean and comes with off street parking. Inside the cottage is very comfortable and has a few nice touches. The smoke alarm is very sensitive. The location is good for access to local amenities. It is pet friendly so our dogs loved it too. Seaside town so seagulls can be quite noisy

In a lovely location to access the nearby shops and beach.
