"You never replied to my phone call or text asking for help during the holiday."
There were 3 key boxes in the bin area. A neighbour helped me find the correct key box. Additional info would be useful.
The main door was very tricky to open. Even more detailed instructions required or lock adjustment.
I didn't notice the router in washing machine cupboard for 2 days. I phoned my son who told me to use the logon info on the back of the router to get access to the internet.

We had no problems with the keys as mentioned on another review (comprehensive instructions on keyring). Great sea views. Comfy beds. Well equipped kitchen. Really enjoyed our stay.

"Our holiday was ruined by the problems with the lock on the main door."
When outside using the key it required many attempts to get the door open no matter how you turned the key, From inside again turning the catch required many attempts. We were never sure if we would get in/out. When arriving we could not get in and the emergency number refused to come and cut off me subsequent calls. We had to get help from residents on occasions to get in/out. Spoiled our holiday. A refund would be in order.
We are sorry the lock caused you problems. No phone calls or voicemails were received from you apart from the initial call from you to me which was answered and instructions on how to open the door were given. If you had asked for an owner to visit then this would certainly have been done within 5 minutes.
You left a very nice review about the flat in our guest book and we are very dissapointed to read the reviews on the Sykes website. There are six flats in the block all using the same main door and the builder assured me no one else has had complaints as the lock fitted is standard for that type of building. For future guests we have attached opening instructions to the main door key which is located in the keysafe box.

"Very modern in decoration with almost everything needed, a dishwasher would have been good to have."
The was as all adults staying, is the beds the double/bunk is a nightmare. Twin beds would be better and also an option of main room a zip and link beds would give more opportunities for all adult bookings. Other than that the apartment met our needs, the location was fantastic. The only issues were the main door and front door not the easiest to open, the smell in ground floor landing is horrendous and would have been nice to have information on what is in the locality. Welcome basket a nice touch but a small milk added to this would be good considering tea and coffee was included. We did have an issue with the bathroom tap that was fixed exceptionally quickly.

Lovely apartment with a lovely view, which provided us with the ideal base for the area. Only very minor point was that there was no bread knife, which would have been useful, but is by no means a huge issue! Welcome box was a nice touch. Thanks.

Especially enjoyed the view of the ocean and all the wildlife. We would really like to return. Apartment was great, everything you need for a peaceful holiday.
One wee thing we struggled to open the outside key safe, both when we arrived and as we left, probably rusted from being by the sea.

"Oceanview provided us with a wonderful, cosy and super comfortable escape to the seaside."
The location is brilliant, everything close by and the views can’t be beaten! The ever changing sky is beautiful, along with the sound of the waves on your doorstep. Oceanview is well equipped, clean, warm and very comfortable. Lovely soft towels and comfy beds. Highly recommend as a seaside getaway!

"Fabulous accommodation with modern furnishings throughout."
Was spotless on arrival. Welcome basket on arrival (Tea, coffee, Biscuits etc) was much appreciated. Plenty to do in the area to keep two 9 year olds busy for a week !! Definitely well worth the six hour + drive from Preston. Would definitely recommend to family and friends and hope to return in the near future.

"Everything was perfect."
The apartment was modern, tastefully furnished, spotless and fully equipped. The view from the apartment on the seafront was amazing, even seeing some dolphins, and only 10 mins walk from beautiful clean, sandy beaches. We would absolutely recommend.
