  • "Wendy is such a lovely host."

The property is in a great location, spotlessly clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our short stay. We had a great time exploring and this was the perfect base to come back to. Thanks again.

  • "Some very nice artwork."

Well decorated and equipped. Female owner became " tired & emotional" when contacted, on entry to property , re powerful smell of sewage from bathroom. Her opinion appeared to be that I had an unusually sensitive nose, and there was no odour. However, They did make strenuous efforts to solve the problem. I was visiting family & friends who live in Moray, who state that sewage blow back odour, associated with a close by visitor attraction, is common knowledge.

Hello Sarah Thank you for your appreciation of the property I am unfortunately going to have to refute what you have said in your review about “ tired and emotional” . We both know that was how you presented , and consequently , I was determined to resolve any issue you had . That is why we are keen for guests to have our contact numbers from the offset , we do our utmost to listen and help. You were quite determined not to enter into any form of dialogue. Your family and friends , who live locally , have not been in our property . We have never had this problem before , and you of course did not raise the issue again during your five night stay. It is unfair on the local “ visitor attraction” to clumsily refer to such matters , and I can only feel sorry that you felt the need to highlight it at all. We wish you well Wendy Property Owner

  • "Lovely stay in the cottage."

Perfect location for Inverness and the coast. The underfloor heating was great and made it feel very cosy when returning from a day out. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay (a hoover would be great to enable us to keep it extra tidy). Wendy is a very welcoming host, greeting us when we arrived and sharing lots of information about the local area. Thank you for the milk and goodies when we arrived after our long journey. Will definitely stay here again.
