"A very welcoming feeling as soon as we walked through the door, felt right at home with everything you would ever need available, it was the most comfortable and enjoyable week we’ve ever had."
-
"Superb cottage, extremely well equipped."
Close to all amenities. Would definitely recommend and would come back. Thank you for the chocolate biscuits.
-
"Beautiful cottage with everything you need."
Comfortable bed and sofas. A litle outdoor seating area at the back of house which is peaceful and relaxing. The cottage is in a perfect location as only a short walk to stunning views of the sea and a short walk to the beach, shops and cafes.
-
"Lovely cottage in perfect location in Cullen, accurate listing, no hesitation to recommend."
-
"The cottage was a haven from the stresses of life and ideally placed for the harbour, shops and eateries."
Including a fantastic vegan eatery. The cottage retains done if its original features and the owners have complimented these with the furnishings. So special. Sorry to leave. We will be back.

"This is our second visit to this property."
The property is very clean and is well equipped. Everything there that one would need. The owner made it quite clear if we had any problems just make contact. We didn’t of course have any problems. I would certainly recommend this property and we hope to visit again in the near future.
-
"Property is in a great location, spotlessly clean and accurately described, we were welcomed with milk in the fridge and biscuits for our tea, would highly recommend and will certainly return, has great courtyard that you could sit out and have a coffee in the good weather, great contact from owner."
-
"Extended my stay here, loved it."
5 stars.

"Fantastic cottage in a lovely coastal village."
Cottage was very clean, well appointed and more spacious than you think. Great beds, comfy sofas, excellent shower and the kitchen has everything you need. Great walks from the door, fabulous views from the cliffs and sandy beaches. Small Co-op in Cullen but a large Tesco 5 minutes away in Buckie. Helpful hosts. Would love to return, thoroughly recommended.

"What a wonderful time I had at Sea Breeze Cottage."
Comfy, cosy, perfectly located for walking on the beach and browsing the little shops up the road. I loved the brightness and spaciousness of the bathroom, the shelves full of books in the lounge and the corner with the dining table, chairs and little window. My favourite corner… The kitchen was also spacious and very well equipped. The range cooker was a wee bit scary for me, I didn’t use it…maybe some instructions would help in future, for an older guest like myself. I loved the blue kettle and little teapot. Very nice crockery, glasses and cutlery, a pleasure to use. I slept in the downstairs bedroom, very comfortable double bed and I enjoyed luxury of the tv on the wall…something I don’t have at home. Nice to be able to park at the door as well. I had a lovely week here and would definitely come back again.

"This was our second time visiting Sea Breeze Cottage."
Lovely accommodation with all the facilities needed to ensure a pleasant stay. Highly recommend to anyone needing a peaceful holiday in a quiet Scottish village. The cottage placement is quite convenient, as our previous stays have been down at the beach level, which made it a tiresome walk each time we wanted to go to the shops. Sea Breeze is a short walk to the shops and quick access to the harbour. Cullen itself is a very quiet village. Having said that, there are many places to visit either walking distance or a short drive. Check out the pet cemetery, the beach and extend your walk further up to Portknockie. The view over the sea is outstanding. Drive out to Elgin or Inverness. Cullen village has the essential shops including a Co-op, post office, fish & chip shop, and a Chinese takeaway. A large Tesco supermarket is not too far away near Buckie. Thank you to Alex & Alison for answering the queries we had very quickly. Hope to visit the cottage again next year.
-
"Delightful cottage within easy access to the harbour and beach."
Lovely walks, well signposted in various directions.Nearest swimming pool in Buckie a short drive from cottage. Would definitely book again when in the area.

"This property can only be described as A1 from start to finish."
It was immaculate throughout.
-
"Nice little cottage, has everything you need, a cosy stay."
Best wishes, Jill

"Our second stay in the property and another great holiday."
The property is warm and cosy and the new seating in the lounge was fantastic. Already looking forward to our next visit.
-
"This is a pleasant and comfortable cottage nicely positioned between the town centre and harbour."

"We have stayed at Cullen on a number of occasions, but this was our first visit to Sea Breeze Cottage."
The description and previous visitor comments provided an accurate summary of the accommodation. It was lovely and homely inside, with a warm cosy living room and ample space for four people to stay. Just my wife and I stayed for the week, so we didn’t need the two rooms upstairs. The kitchen had all the essential facilities that you will need for your holiday. It had been snowing during our stay, but I can imagine the outside table and chairs would be very useful during the summer months. The cottage placement is quite convenient, as our previous stays have been down at the beach level, which made it a tiresome walk each time we wanted to go to the shops. Sea Breeze is a short walk to the shops and quick access to the harbour. Cullen itself is a very quiet village, with only a handful of shops open for half of the week. Having said that, there are many places to visit either walking distance or a short drive. Check out the pet cemetery, the beach and extend your walk further up to Portknockie. The view over the sea is outstanding. Drive out to Elgin or Inverness. We had plans to climb Hill of Maud, but we will save it for a warmer season. Cullen village has the essential shops including a Co-op, post office, fish & chip shop, and a Chinese takeaway close by. A large Tesco supermarket is not too far away near Buckie. The owners had taken the time to provide a holiday home that will be enjoyed by all those who visit. Thank you to Alex & Alison for providing milk, tea and coffee, that was most appreciated after an 8 hour drive. Look out for the reclining sofa chair!! Hope to visit again in the summer. If you want peace and tranquility, the cottage and the village are ideal for you.

"Very nice people biscuits sweets and milk left for us on arrival We had small problem with heating on second last day of our stay."
After contacting owner it took him no more than 10 minutes to be with us and fault was fixed very quickly
-
"A very comfortable and cosy cottage."
Spotlessly clean on arrival.
-
"Fantastic property."
It was our second visit. We were all looking forward to our return and it didn't disappoint. Suburbly clean, warm and comfortable. Very cosy with lots of space. Excellent communication with host's on arrival. Lovely to have milk, coffee, tea etc as a welcome after a long journey. Wished we could have stayed longer.
-
"We had a lovely week in Sea Breeze cottage."
It was perfect for us as my husband is disabled and we enjoyed a spacious ground floor bedroom and ground floor bathroom with walk-in shower. Everything was sparkling clean. I think it should be made clear that the two upstairs bedrooms, which we didn't use, were only suitable for children but they were delightfully decorated. The position above the harbour was great.
-
"Excellent property well layed out and equipped with everything you could need and more."
Comfortable beds and sofas. Loved the bonus of the goodies left for us, ie milk, cookies etc, a very nice touch thank you. The property is just a short walk to the harbour or to shops, pubs etc. Well situated to explore the Moray coastline ie seals at Port Gordon, Bow Fiddle Rock etc. Also ideally located to see the Mirrie dancers ( northern lights) if the right time of year and cloud free sky's. The only downside is no pets, but that's understandable. Our stay was to visit our relatives in that part of Scotland and we will most certainly be back to stay here again.
-
"Wonderful accomodation, lovely village and surrounding, we (family of 4) can fully recommend."
-
"Seabreeze cottage was perfectly positioned within the stunningly beautiful town of Cullen."
We had everything we needed and our hosts, Alex and Alison were brilliant.
-
"A very well appointed property which is situated in a quiet yet central location."
The cottage has all the facilities that you could wish for. There is a sunny courtyard to the rear of the building which can be used for al fresco dining.
-
"A cosy holiday cottage in the lovely village of Cullen."
The cottage has all you need for your stay with lovely views over the bay from the rooms upstairs or from the front door. Very cosy in inclement weather. Cullen has a range of good amenities, coffee shops and a Co-op and is an excellent base for exploring the area.
-
"A really lovely stay, the cottage is beautiful and spotlessly clean."
Would highly recommend.
-
"Lovely cottage with clear thought put into making the experience like being at home."
Great location with amazing views. Good communications and clear instructions which made everything easy.
-
"We love staying at Sea Breeze cottage."
The hosts are very welcoming and the cottage is perfect. It has every thing we need, it is cosy, comfortable and a perfect location for the beach, hikes and the shops.
-
"The property owners were extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating."
Lovely area, particularly Cullen itself. Loads to do and experience and the weather was kind to us too!
-
"The cottage was in a great location, excellent host."
It had everything we needed plus more. It was warm, cosy and exceptionally clean. We couldn't have asked for more. Cullen is a lovely town. Very friendly people, exceptional views, good amenities
-
"Cottage was immaculate."
I have never been in such a clean cottage. So well equipped and there was nothing that we looked for and couldn't find. A very very comfortable and warm, cosy cottage. Excellent communication with the owner too. Cullen too is a beautiful place with plenty of places to walk.
-
"The owners are very attentive."
They go out of their way to ensure that everything is up to the highest standard and that their guests have everything they need.
-
"Cottage was very comfortable and clean."
Alex was really nice due to Covid19 we could not in person. I will return and I would recommend the cottage.
-
"Sea Breeze cottage is in a very good position in Cullen, with easy access to the main street and to the harbour, beach and many excellent walks in the area."
Cullen is in a great central position on the Moray Forth coast, giving easy driving access to the marvellous scenic coast, towns and villages. The Spey whisky distillery route is an easily accessible for a day out (with a nominated driver!). The cottage itself was clean and tidy with all the home from home facilities. The Rangemaster cooker is excellent! The heating system was also very quick and effective. A good shower is provided. However it is a dark cottage, particularly in the living / dining area. The Windows are small with very little sun getting into the house. We were lucky enough to have good weather and were out and about every day, using the cottage as a base. We didn't use the upstairs bedrooms but I would say they are only suitable for children. Saying that, the cottage is well priced compared with others in the area that have a sea view, you could easily pay 50% more for this. The local businesses were very well prepared for Covid recommendations, although the footfall is down significantly in the smaller shops and pubs with no outdoor areas. We didn't eat or coffee out anything like the number of times we normally would on holiday but it's worth giving a shout out to the excellent fish and chips in Cullen, the very good beer garden at the Seafield hotel, the excellent seafood at the auld kirk restaurant in Fordyce and the great ice cream at Portsoy.
-
"Lovely clean cottage in central Cullen perfect for exploring the Moray and Aberdeenshire coast and country."
Suited our family of 4 really well.
-
"Lovely well equipped cottage in a good position."
Ideal for walking and exploring the area. Did several of the walks around Cullen and really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break by the sea.
-
"Enjoyed the town of Cullen: very friendly people."
The neighbourly spirit is plain to see, the people put so much into their community. The cottage owner is of the same kind, it was brilliant to be met in person at start of holiday and shown everything . The cottage was spotless and well stocked- it even has a toast rack
-
"Lovely homely cottage."
Spotlessly clean. Owner was very kind and welcoming.
-
"Perfect! So cosey and do so clean."
Thank you to the owners !! Very highly recommended
-

-
"Printed directions were inadequate."
Thank you for you feedback. The directions have since be reviewed and I understand that the owner did come to your rescue and came out to find you to direct you to the property. We hope you enjoyed your stay at Sea breeze Cottage. Property Owner

"Cullen is a lovely place."
Everyone was friendly and the whole place was neat and tidy. The cottage was beautiful and everything had been thought of that you might need. It was beautifully decorated and very tasteful. There is a good Chinese Takeaway very close and a Fish and Chip shop just off the main street. The ice cream shop is wonderful. The Seafield Arms Hotel has a good menu and nice surroundings not cheap but worth it. There are many delightful villages not too far away and we had a lovely relaxing break.
-
"This was our second stay at the cottage and it was a home from home this time round."
The owner Alec met us as usual on our arrival and welcomed us back, remembering us from our last stay and making sure the house was warm for our arrival. This cottage is a gem and I would recommend it to couples who want a warm and cosy base for a quiet holiday.
