  • "This was probably one of the best cottages we've stayed in."

It was spacious inside and out. The views were stunning, the location was handy to nearby towns and villages and not too far from Dundee. David & Elaine were very welcoming and went the extra mile with the welcoming hamper and pooch extras. The facilities are great and as a family we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely book again. 10/10

  • "House is absolutely stunning and much bigger than the photos portray online."

Finished to a very high standard and was perfect for my family and our dogs. Has everything you need for cooking/baking. The library with books / games / jigsaws is great. Bed linen is lovely and perfect fluffy towels. David was extremely responsive and accommodating. Absolutely no complaints or tips - stayed in a lot of cottages over the years and this is by far the best of the bunch. David and Elaine have thought of everything for a perfect stay for the hoomans and fur-babies. We will be back :)

The house is large & spacious with plenty of room for 6 without being on top of each other. Beds are very comfortable best we've slept on being away from home. Cooking facilities are home from home had everything in the kitchen to make meals. The whole house was clean & welcoming with a goody basket on arrival for us & our dogs who loved the outside garden. Hot tub is a great bonus after a day of exploring the area. We will definitely be back.

  • "Great well appointed property with absolutely everything you need."

Very high spec for everything - comfy beds and great bath and showers. Really helped having the boot room too. The views are gorgeous including all the birds and other wildlife. Lots of great places to visit locally without having to go too far afield. Great having owners next door - they were there if we needed them. Very responsive to messages. Thoroughly recommend this property - you absolutely wouldn't be disappointed. Could have spent the whole holiday looking out at the Glens, the animals with just an occasional dip in the hot tub.

The house is spacious, well thought out, comfortable and has everything thought of. The views from the hot tub and the front windows are amongst the best we've ever had, even witnessed deer running through the fields on a couple of occasions. It's safe to say that the place stole our hearts, and we will definitely be back again, the hosts; David & Elaine are lovely people, very approachable and nothing is too much trouble. • "We absolutely loved our 2 week stay at Woodrae."

The cottage itself has everything you need to be kept more than comfortable. The views from the decking are beautiful. The photos on the website do not do the place justice though as the property is much bigger than it looks! We simply loved it and didn’t want to go home. The hosts made it clear that should we need anything then all we had to do was ask. They left us to our own devices whilst checking that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The whole stay was absolutely perfect. 10/10 for the property and the hosts!

In terms of size, the pictures really don’t do the cottage justice, it’s very spacious and modern yet retains character, and some lovely touches throughout the cottage. Good sized enclosed garden for the dogs, and walks available from the cottage door. Owners friendly and helpful, and live nearby on the farm should there be any issues (we didn’t have any.) We stayed with our 2 little boys and all absolutely loved it. The house is beautiful. We expected it to be nice from the photos but it was even better than we’d hoped - every detail has been thought of. It was really stylish, immaculate and had everything we possibly needed all week. The view is lovely and we had the fire lit every day and sat enjoying it with our books. The hot tub was a special extra especially when the baby and toddler were asleep!! Honestly couldn’t recommend enough - we booked to return before even checking out :)
