  • "Hi Morag & Nigel, We really enjoyed our stay at your accommodation in Banff."

    It was like a tardis in there! Beautifully decorated and it had very comfortable beds. Having areas where the decor was sympathetic to children was very much appreciated by them and heightened the pleasure of our family break away. Love your taste and it was great to get to meet you both too. If the opportunity arose, we would definitely come again. (-:

  • "This is beautiful and spacious home and we really enjoyed our break."

    The owner is very helpful to address any questions. The entire house is filled with quality items including kitchen items, bed , mattress etc. I strongly recommend this house and we are planning to come next summer as well

  • "Beautiful home and well equipped."

    The owners were available, friendly and responsive. A ‘Welcome Book’ for guests might be helpful to offer details of Wi-Fi code, where to find ironing board, clothes hanger etc and guidance for ‘checking out’ in terms of used towels, bins and other bits and bobs so as not to have to bother the owners. Stairs and layout a little tricky to navigate with a young family but we got there! Lovely stay, and would recommend x

  • "This was our first time in this part of Scotland, and our stay was great, the house was very clean, comfortable, and convenient in terms of shops and next to the beach."

    Any problems were had was resolved as soon as we raise it with Nigel and Morag. It was really home away from home. We will be back next time we are visiting Scotland. I will recommend this place to anyone going to be in Banff. Thank Morag and Nigel for hosting us.

Nestled within the picturesque coastal town of Banff, 24 Bridge Street is the ideal property for a family or group of friends looking to explore the stunning coast of Scotland.

Park on-road and be welcomed into a three-storey property, where you will be met by the first two bedrooms, a double with storage and a twin with a partition separating a snug with a sofa and TV, ideal for the little ones to relax in, and there is also a contemporary shower room.

Ascend the stairs and discover a stylish kitchen with a view across the garden and the local town, ideal for guests to cook together, and there is also a breakfast bar for a more informal dining setting.

Fraserburgh 25 miles; Elgin 35 miles; Aberdeen 40 miles.

Banff is a former county town and a Royal Burgh, having received its charter from Robert the Bruce in 1324. The town has been designated an Outstanding Conservation Area and is famous for its outstanding architecture. Banff contains a variety of architecture in a number of contrasting styles, including Georgian architecture that can be found in the upper part of the town. Banff Harbour is now a recreational harbour and marina, and the town boasts spectacular sea views, sandy beaches, shops and seafood restaurants. Duff House, built between 1735 and 1740 is situated in the Deveron Valley, and is thought to be one of Britain's finest Georgian houses. Close by is Duff House Royal golf course and two miles away the neighbouring town of Macduff offers the Royal Tarlair golf course and award-winning Marine Aquarium. Nearby, the old smugglers village of Pennan was used as the location for the movie Local Hero, and its famous phonebox is a listed historical monument. The area also boasts sandy beaches, forest walks, cycle routes, whisky trails, pony trekking and dolphin watching, along with the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses in Fraserburgh and the Portsoy Boat Festival and Turriff Show.
