  • "Pat and Raine have one of the best equipped cottages we have stayed in."

Everything had been thought of , including dog bowls, towels and treats! The cottage is in a peaceful setting ,but ideally placed for exploring both inland and the coast . The hosts are very welcoming . We also enjoyed great hospitality and food at the New Inn in Aberchirder . Would certainly recommend if wanting to visit this area , and especially if you have your dog with you .

  • "Bide ‘a’ While Cottage:- We had a fabulous time at the cottage."

Surrounded in beautiful farmland Countryside ,it was peaceful and so relaxing. Within easy distance of all the lovely little coastal and inland towns and villages of the area. Everything was thought of and all was there that was needed at the cottage. Our dog loved running around in the secure paddock just off the garden and enjoyed the little treats that Pat and Raine had left for him along with our tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival, Wonderful hosts we hope to return . And thoroughly recommend Bide ‘a’ While.

  • "A lovely property in an excellent location."

We couldn't have asked for more. It would be ideal for a disabled/wheelchaired guest as well which can't be true for many self-catering properties.

Thank you, Pam and John, so pleased you enjoyed your stay at Bide-a-While. Thank you for your positive feedback, we do appreciate it. Pat and Raine Property Owner

  • "Lovely house."

Spotless. Everything you could need has been thought of. We are just sorry that we couldn't " bide a while" longer. Such a peaceful home. We came for rest & relaxation & that is what we got. Noticed in the guest book that people come for 2&3 week stays & also lots of repeat stays, that speaks for for itself. Beautiful pictures on the walls painted by Pat. Both Raine & Pat were very nice hosts. Would highly recommend this place.

Thank you Myra and Colin, for your very positive feedback, we appreciate you taking the time to do this. It was our pleasure to have you here and hope to see you again in the future. Property Owner

  • "We were recommended this cottage by my mum and dad."

As soon as you arrive peace and quiet which is just what we needed, Raine welcomed us and showed us around the cottage, which is like a tardis. Felt at home straight away. The cottage is surrounded by lovely scenery and lots of place soo and lovely towns to visit and the beaches are gorgeous. If you fancy getting away from it all this is the cottage to come to. We didn't want to leave, our dog Maddie loved the new walks and exploring, also the cottage has a field attached where Maddie enjoyed chasing her tennis ball. Thank you again Pat and Raine , so lovely to meet you both, hoping to see you again soon .

  • "First we would like to give a big thank you to Pat and Raine for allowing us to stay."

They were very friendly and thoughtful and would give any information required. The cottage is laid out for easy use for people with disabilities and all extremely clean. Very comfortable accommodation and we do not have disabilities but found very comfortable and plenty of space. We sat down one evening and tried to think of anything that was missing BUT could not think of anything because the cottage is so well equipped. There is plenty of easy parking and beyond the parking area there is a good size fenced off field to allow a dog to run but please pick up after your dog. We noticed in the visitors book that visitors keep returning and we know why. This is a over looked part of the country with some beautiful views especially around the coast and this cottage is well situated as about 15 minutes drive. We would love to come back for another visit. Thank you again to Pat and Raine.

Thank you so much for your very positive review. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay and found the cottage comfortable and well equipped. It is always lovely to have repeat guests and we would love to see you all again. Property Owner
