  • "What an amazing find!"

The cottage had everything we could need and more. The cottage was immaculately clean and very comfortable and the location was perfect for sunrise walks on the beach and for exploring both the Aberdeenshire and Moray Coasts. Will we return, definately. Thank you for a wonderful holiday..

  • "Delighted to return to this cottage again for another stay."

It is in a superb location with sea views and a very pleasant walk along the front into Banff. It is modern and stylish with comfortable beds and good bathroom. I am pleased to say that we did not experience the technical problems with the wifi and TV that we did on our previous visit. Very enjoyable indeed and no complaints despite somewhat poor weather. Hope to return again someday. Thanks.

We are so glad you enjoyed your return stay at Tammie Norrie cottage and sorry the weather wasn't kind to you. We hope you will be able to return again at some point in the future. Property Owner

This cottage was amazing and would be easy to recommend The owner was very communicative and helpful and was kind enough to leave milk tea coffee sugar and a bottle of wine - essential after a 10 hour plus drive. This is a stunning part of Scotland to explore and even if it rains you have a warm and cozy cottage to wait it out. Many many thanks

  • "This was one of the best holiday properly we have stayed in."

It is very well equipped and in a very good location.Only downside was there was a couple of old cottages next to us getting renovated so we had works vans parking either side of us and a compressor or such like running most of the day when they were working. As we were away most days it wasn't much of a problem as they were usually finished by five o'clock.Only upside is they will hopefully finish it soon and the place will return to its quiet self.

  • "We had a truly wonderful time at Tammie Norrie."

It is superbly situated with sea views and a very pleasant coastal walk into Banff. Spotlessly clean, modern and very comfortable. Good shower. Can park the car immediately outside the front door so great for loading/unloading. Also it is an excellent central location for exploring the northern coast. The only negatives were ones that were not the owner's fault - there is no mobile phone signal in the property (EE/BT) and TV reception can be a bit iffy. The wifi also dropped out when it rained. Although annoying, these issues did not spoil our time here and we would definitely stay here again.

  • "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though it was so warm especially the memory foam bed!"

Everything we needed was there and very much appreciated the footstool after a day out. The binoculars for looking in vain for dolphins, the wine and other treats.

Thank you for your great comments, sorry the elusive dolphins did not put in an appearance for you - maybe next time! Property Owner

  • "Had a great week at the cottage - very clean and comfortable although we did find the sofas rather soft."

Regarding maintenance: Lock on door to patio needs adjusting. Fridge - back feet require re-levelling. Bathroom door lock does not latch on keeper.

Thank you for your comments which we will investigate. Property Owner

The sea view decided our choice of Tammie Norrie Cottage, we love sea views. We were slightly nervous about the close proximity of the holiday/caravan park, but we needn't have been, we didn't hear a sound. In fact it was good to see children playing on the swings and roundabouts etc., instead of being stuck to tablets or mobile phones. The location of the property is ideal for exploring the variety of features east and west on the coastline. The beach is on the doorstep so it's just a short walk with your windbreak, chairs, bucket and spade. We really enjoyed our stay.
