  • "A well situated and appointed, spacious and fully equipped property that is perfect for one person or a couple plus a dog."

    The owners have thought of everything. I didn't need to take my cafetiere even. The cottage is warm and comfortable with the heating and gas fire and drying clothes after a wet walk is not a problem. With beautiful coastal scenery, an award winning chippy round the corner and a Spar what more can you want? We had a lovely week.

  • "A lovely, cosy, well equipped apartment in the most beautiful, peaceful location."

    The fire, powerful shower and local chip shop were ideal after a day spent walking along the coastal trail. Although this a ground flat we were never disturbed by the person above and could’ve easily stayed longer than our 7 nights

  • "The appartment was lovely, comfortable, clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated."

    Just a few strides from the wonderful Portknockie shoreline the dog loved it. The only slight downside was the TV, there were no terrestrial programs and not being very technically competent we struggled to find somthing to watch after 46 episodes of the weakest link we gave up. We would definitely come back though.

  • "Our stay at 18b was excellent."

    It was unreservedly the best holiday cottage stay we have experienced. The owners have thought of everything. From the level of comfort to the thoughtful planning that has gone into the beautiful interiors’ decoration sympathetic to the coastal surroundings to the level of detail of anything you would need in the kitchen the owners have literally thought of everything you need for a holiday.   • "This was a great property, perfect for my husband, dog and I."

    Everything we needed was there, and it was spotless. The fridge wasn't as cold as we'd like. I did turn the dial inside, but with the instructions, wasn't sure if it was the correct way! We also found that the broadband was poor. Okay, as we were only using it for browsing, to get information on the area. I think watching Netflix would have been "hard work," with the buffering!

  • "We stayed in this apartment last August and loved it then and still do."

    The new bed was very comfortable and Port Knockie is our favourite place. We did put the bins out for dustman on Monday as they were overflowing particularly the shared ones. Having said that it was not a problem. We will be back

  • "Two light bulbs out in living room."

    We find this with many properties.Toaster tray not emptied. Appreciate cleaners may not have time to clean oven but shelves/sides of oven really greasy. Not much room between wall and base of bed and shape/widening of base of legs didn't help. Once in bed it was comfortable but too low for us

  • "Beautifully decorated apartment with everything that you would need."

    Excellent location very close to sea front. Would definitely recommend to friends and family if they were looking to stay in this locale. Unfortunately, very uncomfortable bed which was bearable but became more of a problem as our week moved on. This was something we think should be addressed for future residents as it was the only problem we had with this wonderful apartment.

The popular coastal village of Portknockie occupies a stunning, cliff-top position overlooking a natural picturesque harbour on the striking Moray Firth Coast. Explore the craggy cliff-tops, beaches and secret coves or absorb the dramatic views of the Bow Fiddle Rock, or look out for the dolphins, seals and sea birds that live in the Moray Firth. National Cycle Route 1 also passes through Portknockie.
