  • "We were shocked on arrival to find that only two of the five rooms had proper windows."

Kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom only had very high up velux windows that we couldn't see out of. This was acceptable in the bathroom kitchen felt claustrophic and the bedroom very stuffy, hence the row of airfreshners on top of the wardrobe. We failed to open the bedroom window, the rope to pull was missing and the remote would only open the blinds. Also there was a very busy campsite outside the lounge window which gave us little privacy. On the plus side the house was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the bedding pristine. It was also very central to all the tourist attractions and supermarkets. The issues we had would not put most people off, the reviews speak for themselves but we would not have booked if we had known about the windows and campsite. I think it's acceptable to assume there would be proper windows unless told otherwise. The photos did not show windows and were obviously taken from a sympathetic angle. Please consider telling people about the windows and campsite in the description, it's only fair to anyone who may not be comfortable with this.

  • "This isca great holiday cottage."

It was clean and very well equipped, with quality appliances. Everything you need (except a potato masher maybe!) is provided. The cottage is in a great position to explore Anglesey and beyond. We enjoyed gardens, castkes, beaches and lighthouses. Great place to stay - hope to return.

This house was spacious and comfortable and proved the idea location to explore Snowdonia, Anglesey, and the north and west Welsh coasts. The house was quiet, clean and well equipped and comfortably accommodated us during our stay. I had a question for the hosts, who were quick to respond and resolve my enquiry.

  • "Beautifully furnished and decorated cottage, very peaceful but easy to get to visit other places with great road links."

If you have mobility issues you might struggle stepping into the shower. Otherwise a great home from home.

  • "The cottage is lovely and immaculately presented and in a fantastic area for exploring Anglesey and the coast and mountains of North Wales."

However, for holidaying with small children the glass coffee tables in the living area are not suitable, with sharp corners that are easily missed and bumped into, and it would be nice to have some toys/games somewhere. A washing machine would have also been a useful addition. Everything else was lovely.

  • "Everything was very clean and looked new, Bethan had left a welcome pack for us with Welsh cakes, very nice."

The bedrooms were both double beds and nice big rooms. I think if there was twin beds it would be better for friends, catered more for couples. Very close to Anglesey , close to shops and pubs. Ideal base for North Wales holiday.

  • "Treborth Mews is a great place to base yourself if you're looking for a comfortable stay in an area with so much to offer."

The cottage has everything that you need to enjoy a "home away from home" break and was lovely and clean. We had a couple of small issues but Bethan the owner sorted them really promptly and it wasn't a problem. The place is roomy and really tastefully decorated and there are basic supplies provided like tea, coffee, milk and wine which was very welcome. We're from the area originally but now live away so we rented the mews so that we could visit family in their gardens as we haven't seen them for months due to the lockdown. As all hospitality in Wales was shut we made use of local takeaways and the TV has Netflix and Amazon Prime so every night was movie night due to the great choice. We did cook a couple of meals and there is everything that you need in the kitchen. There is a small garden with a picnic bench and chairs at the front of the courtyard which is lovely as it's in the afternoon sun The area is fantastic for walks and beaches and is a great place to base yourself for exploring Anglesey and the Snowdonia area.

  • "We stayed at 2 Treborth Mews the moment restrictions were lifted, and it felt like such a treat."

The pictures online do not do this property justice, it is so bright and airy whilst still feeling incredibly homely. There's a picnic bench in the front of the property, so we enjoyed a nice few drinks out here of an evening. The kitchen is perfect for a self catering holiday as it is so well equipped. The owners were on hand to help with anything, and they left some lovely touches around the property such as shampoos, shower gels and bubble baths for us to use. Location is fantastic, a short walk takes you across the Menai Bridge and handily there is a Waitrose right there. Lots of lovely independent coffee shops too. We were blessed with lovely sunny weather and one of our favourite things to do was to get a coffee from +39 and take it down onto the waterfront. Dylans was a lovely shop with lots of local produce and chilled beers (very handy when pubs weren't open). This would be a beautiful spot once they can open as the restaurant overlooks the waterfront. Lots of lovely attractions were easily reached in the car, we especially enjoyed Aber Falls and the Hidden Gardens. Safe to say we did not want to come home. If you are thinking of booking here then go ahead and do so, you won't be disappointed.
