  • "Warm, cosy and well equipped cottage."

Absolutely beautiful enclosed garden at the back. Fresh flowers in each room. Welcome pack of Welsh cakes, milk and teas/coffees. Bowls, treats and towel provided for our little dog- also throws for the sofa/chairs. We had no trouble finding a parking space each day. We had some lovely days out as nowhere very far on Anglesey. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will definitely be back.

Thank you for your lovely review, we’re delighted you enjoyed your stay, enjoyed the island and made some happy memories. Thank you for taking care of our cottage so well. We would welcome you back anytime. Property Owner

There was plenty of tea/coffee and also some complimentary milk and biscuits on arrival. The only slight downside was that we found the beds a bit uncomfortable but that is probably personal taste x

  • "Wonderful stay at Bwthyn Dwyfor!"

Picture perfect cottage, outside and in. South facing garden was a delight with wonderful views and two private patios; perfect for sunbathing and relaxing at any time of the day. Beautiful array of flowers, shrubs and herbs for a perfect cottage garden. Cottage was immaculate with all mod cons and lovely, spacious bedrooms full of light and lots of mirrors which is always a plus for us ladies!!! Pure cotton bedding was a welcome plus. Also, lovely warmth from the storage heaters on a chilly evening for a comfy cozy feel. Charming welcome with fresh cut flowers, Welsh Cakes and coffee and milk. The guest's guide to the cottage and Beaumaris & Anglesey tourist guides was exceptional - nothing was left out! Thank you so much for hosting us in your beautiful Welsh escape - cannot fault a single thing - just perfect for families and couples alike. xx

Thank you for a lovely review and for being such lovely guests. Delighted you enjoyed your stay with us. Best wishes, Property Owner

Enjoyed using the 2 patios, the top one has lovely views of the mountains. Although there is no parking outside the cottage we found a spot just round the corner. It's a very easy walk to the seafront and pier , shops and pubs. Would definitely book again.

  • "We had a fantastic stay at Bwthyn Dwyfor."

The weather was good and we had breakfast on the upper deck every day. The garden is beautiful and adds a special extra to the cottage, secure for the dog too. The cottage is spotless and equipped with everything you need, including a few treats for the dog and bowls and towels too. The beds were comfortable and the bedding smelled amazing, (I would love to know which products you use ). The towels were big and fluffy and the shower had a good supply of hot water and was powerful. We cannot think of anything negative to say :) If you stay here don't miss out on the Central Bakery 5mins walk away, and we would also recommend The Liverpool Arms and the Gazelle for excellent dog friendly pubs to eat at. We managed to park in the street just around the corner every day less than a minutes walk away although perhaps this may be more difficult at peak holiday times. Would recommend this cottage 110%

Thank you for a lovely review and we are delighted you enjoyed your stay - the secret with the bedding is to use Ariel washing detergent! Fairy is good too. Thanks again for choosing to stay with us. Property Owner

  • "The cottage was spotless and ideal for us."

We are dog lovers and the owners had provided throws for the furniture, allowing our dog to relax with us and have a cuddle on the settee at night in front of the lovely fire. The owners had thought of everything and even provided milk in the fridge on our arrival. We could unload our car outside the cottage, but were unable to park nearby, we used the car park on the front (£6 per day), this was not a problem for us but may be for people that are less mobile. Thank you for making our break special, we will love to return again one day.

  • "This is a beautiful cosy cottage, spotlessly clean with everything you need and more."

Beds are super comfortable with ample storage in each bedroom. Downstairs the kitchen is spotless and well stocked with everything you need. Logs were plenty for the open fire and books and children’s toys were if needed. The location is perfect with just a short walk to shops, restaurants and sea front. Whilst there is no parking directly outside the cottage due to the narrow street, we had no problem parking less than a minute away. We cannot wait to return and highly recommend this beautiful home.

It's well placed, just on the outskirts of Beaumaris, so quiet, but close to all the amenities. The cottage is clean and extremely comfy and well equipped. The garden is steep, but well worth it, if you're able, the borders are gorgeous and fragrant, and there's wonderful views of the sea and mountains. Another wonderful stay! Thank you.

It was so lovely to have you back! Thank you so much for staying with us again, we are thrilled you enjoyed your stay and the garden, it’s really coming on now isn’t it - thank you for being wonderful guests. Best wishes, Property Owner

The pretty terraced garden was a particular highlight. The lack of parking felt a bit stressful on arrival, but it really wasn't a problem and we always managed to find a handy space. The cottage was a perfect size and location, very clean and tidy, and quiet to boot. Plenty of amenities in the kitchen. It's always nice to find comfortable beds with good linens, and big fluffy towels in the bathroom. Beaumaris is such a lovely place to visit and this cottage is a great place to stay.

  • "This property is a beautiful home from home, well equipped and very close to the town."

We were made very welcome with lovely local cakes for us, and treats for our dog, as well as dog bowls and a towel for our pooch. The cottage is of an extremely high standard of fittings and comfort, exceptionally clean and we wanted for nothing whilst we were there. The only downside is parking, but there are areas around that we found to park the car overnight. The downstairs loo was a great help for my husbands mobility problems and the rear garden/rockery is a beautiful feature. Very well maintained and a very, very pleasant stay for us… thank you…..we will definitely recommend and return ourselves.

Thank you so much for your review. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay in our cottage. Simon and I (Tess) work hard together as a team, making it a home from home, and keeping it to a high standard, so feedback like yours is a real reward for us. Thank you. I also have to thank you for being the perfect guests, you really looked after the cottage during your stay and left it immaculate for us. If you do decide to return (we’d love it if you did) there is the option of purchasing a weekly pass for The Green Car Park in central Beaumaris (so long as you don’t mind the scenic 5-10 minute walk). As you say, street parking is usually available too. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us. We hope to welcome you (and your pooch) back. Best wishes, Property Owner

The owner did try but was unable to fix it. The small touches were appreciated, in particular the Welsh cakes, fresh milk in the fridge and tea, coffee and sugar in the cupboard. We felt immediately at home when walking into the cottage and found it perfectly positioned for all amenities available in Beaumaris.

Thank you for your positive review and for being such lovely guests, you took excellent care of our cottage and I’m really pleased you enjoyed your stay so much. We did get the professionals out to look at the TV aerial, which has been working well since. The expert said it was a common problem in Beaumaris on summers days where there is high pressure because we get our signal from Manchester. He recommended a freesat dish which we intend to install. About the location

BEAUMARIS

Menai Bridge 4 miles.

Beaumaris is a well known historic town on the Isle of Anglesey situated on the Menai Strait and overlooking the Eryri (Snowdonia) mountain range, making for the most stunning of sunrises. With its medieval castle (now a World Heritage site) dating back to the reign of Edward I and its Victorian pier, gaol and courthouse, it is also known as a major centre for yachting. Beaumaris is rich in history and retains much of its medieval street pattern. It’s setting, diversity of architectural styles and periods, differing scale, open spaces, varying roofs and overall quality contribute greatly to the town’s character. There is a good selection of shops, restaurants and public houses, as well as fishing opportunities and boat trips in the town, plus a golf course nearby. Along the coast is a large bay called Red Wharf Bay; its Welsh name is Traeth Coch (Red Beach) and the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow and at low tide, almost 25 square kilometres (10 sq. mi.) of sand is uncovered providing safe bathing, perfect for wonderful family fun, fishing and miles of stunning scenic walks. Further afield is the port of Holyhead, which has regular ferry links to Dublin. Beaumaris is a good central base for touring Wales, in a beautiful location on the south coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, within easy reach of the spectacular mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia).
