  • "No complaints at all."

Very enjoyable week - felt like a "home from home"

  • "Fabulous accommodation, like home from home as it was so well equipped."

Spotlessly clean too, which is essential in my book. Fabulous views and a lovely little balcony on which to enjoy them in the nice weather. Lovely original art work by the owner too, which was a lovely special touch. Not suitable for people with disabilities as accessed by stairs, I say this merely because that was something I needed to know when looking for somewhere suitable for my dear mum. I would definitely return here, it was lovely.

  • "Lovely apartment in a great location, well equipped with a fantastic coastal view."

Several places to eat close by and some good coastal walks from the door. Also a good base to explore the island.

  • "Lovely apartment in a great location, had all the right facilities for a great holiday, unfortunately it was spoiled by incredibly uncomfortable beds and pillows , mattresses were lumpy and were generally worn out , the pillows were very thin and not at all comfortable, also frying pan ,wok etc had peeling non stick surface plus old food stuck to them."

If these issues were resolved I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

  • "A delightful apartment overlooking the sea."

Immaculately presented, tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. Ideally placed for visiting all the island has to offer and and surrounded by lovely eating places, handy shops and buses to local places. The beach at Benllech is very close, although down a steep incline, but there is ample parking space if needed. We shall certainly be returning.

  • "We had an amazing stay, and the views from this Apartment were absolutely amazing."

We've stayed in various holiday apartments, and this was by far the best. Everything, and I mean everything was there.... first aid kit, buckets and spades, wind breakers for the beach etc. Literally, all you need to take are your clothes, toiletries and beach towels. The towels in the Apartment are white and fluffy (not grey like you get in some places) and the bedding smelt gorgeous.

  • "This was our second stay at The Penthouse…& it was exactly as beautiful as we remembered!"

Excellent views, immaculately clean apartment, lovely co-ordinated soft furnishings & the owners had thought of everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible ( even down to providing outdoor blankets for chilly balcony evenings!) Not that we needed those as the weather was kind to us! Thank you for the wine & chocs…a lovely touch & the artwork was most impressive! Would highly recommend! Benllech is an excellent base for touring the whole of this wonderful island!

  • "Benllech is the place to be on Anglesey and the Penthouse is ideally situated within the village."

The apartment is large and spacious and supports a large balcony over looking the bay. You have everything you need for home dining and cooking. There is ample provision for off road car parking within the grounds. Unfortunately when we were staying the washer/drier had broken down prior to our arrival. The village supports two supermarkets, as well as independent shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants.

  • "The apartment is just as it looks in the photographs."

It is convenient, good parking, stylish and overall quite comfortable. We could not find instructions for heating so there were times it was too hot/cold. Given it's rating there were some things that I would have expected to be of a higher standard. These were mainly around sleep quality. Double beds rather than king size disappointing. Pillows were very uncomfortable. The bedding could have been better quality. It is the first time in many years that I have stayed somewhere with polycotton bedding. The towels have seen better days and were off white and not very soft. Now some people may think these are not important but for us they are the difference between average and 5 star rated properties - and good sleep makes all the difference. The rating influenced our choice of accommodation howevsr, in my opinion, there needs to be more attention to detail generally to warrant the 5 star rating. The apartment was clean and Covid 19 risks are taken seriously. I would have liked the email about items that have been removed from the apartment sooner than the day of arrival as we had already left home and would have brought some things with us.

It was very comfortable loved the balcony the views were just amazing , convenient for the shops as there was a Tesco express with in a few mins walk ,a chip shop . A short walk to the most beautiful beach , coastal walks . We would definitely recommend this apartment and will come again .

The apartment is very clean and well equipped . The views of Benllech across to Red Wharf bay and Snowdon mountain range beyond are really lovely . The balcony is a pleasant sheltered relaxing area to enjoy breakfast or evening drink. Objectively one small point I would consider is to replace the two leather sofas for something more comfortable and fitting for this lovely apartment , Im afraid time as caught up with them . The secure convenient parking is a great asset . " The Penthouse " is undoubtedly a place we would like to revisit to experience more of what this beautiful island has to offer
