The cottage is beautifully situated with views over the 'Snowdon' range & convenient for the enticing town of Beaumaris. We have found it spacious, comfortably & attractively furnished and well equipped, although the TV was a bit imposing. Weather permitting, it was good to have a drink on the patio after another day enjoying the delights of Anglesey.

Cath and Carl made us feel very welcome and left us some welcome gifts when we arrived, which we really appreciated. The views are spectacular and the people are very friendly. Beaumaris is just five minutes down the road in a car where you can visit the castle and also take a trip to puffin island if you wish to. There are some lovely coffee and souvenir shops that you can visit and the town is dog friendly. Penmon point is only a view miles away also with a beautiful pebble beach and a lighthouse and a cafe for refreshments. We will definitely be going back. We would highly recommend.

Spotlessly clean. Lovely quality towels and linens. Good quality furniture and accessories. Only comment would be there's no washing machine so a stay of a week is max. Lounge is small so watching TV at an angle is not ideal. I thought we would feel uncomfortable being so close to the owner, but they were very out of the way and even drove off the drive quietly when going to work. Even though this cottage accepts dogs this is cleaned and maintained so we'll that you wouldn't know.

Kind of owners to provide a welcome of milk and wine in the fridge, as well as biscuits. The cottage is in a quiet locality with pleasurable countryside views. Would have liked the kitchen to have been equipped with a steamer and an egg boiler. Also the bedside table lamps are not suitable for reading in bed: LED reading lamps are preferable. The cottage description or listing mentions a TV with Freeview but doesn't mention that a DVD player is also provided. Happily several DVDs were provided as well as books too. Highly recommend this cottage.

Spotless, tasteful decor and lots of little extras to make your stay more comfortable. Carl and Catherine, the owners, have the balance just right - warm and friendly but leave you to enjoy their cottage in peace. Extremely clean, well maintained, with the added welcome of milk, coffee, biscuits and wine - a really nice arrival touch. Light, airy and homely feel with extensive country views from inside and the side outside seating area - which even in October was a nice return to watch the atmospheric mountain weather from after a day on the coast paths. The property is close to the owners house but in no way was this intrusive and it's simply a lovely place to stay. The only critique: the bed a tad too soft and unsupportive after a few days. The owners house is right next to the cottage and, tbh, I wouldn't have booked if I had known this, none of the photographs show the close proximity. Having said that, it is an extremely peaceful location and the owners have thought of everything you could need to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. There are fantastic beaches and places to visit within easy reach. I would recommend a walk from the cottage to a local beach, down a footpath located on the edge of the village. Only about a 30 minute walk and stunning views when you arrive (and very quiet, something we treasure). There are some very nice local places to eat. I would have given 5 stars if the cottage had been separated from the owners property - they seemed to be very nice people on the little contact we had but would have preferred our own private space. Perhaps a slight adjustment to the listing is required to make things clearer?

  • "Lovely cosy cottage and easy to find."

It was a very warm cottage and was spotless and the family who owned it were welcoming and friendly. Only downside there was no washing machine and felt at times I was intruding on the family as the cottage and decking is in there front drive. But I knew that in booking and it's no fault of the family, it's just how I felt.

The owners were also very friend but allowed us our privacy. There was a welcome fruit loaf waiting for us on arrival.

The bedroom and bathroom are located upstairs from the hallway and have been styled in keeping with the rest of the property, to offer a tasteful king-size double bedroom where you can enjoy a good night’s sleep and wake up in the morning refreshed and ready to explore the delights of the surrounding area.

Outside this attractive cottage there is a lovely private area with lawns and decking for you to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the location and soak up sunshine throughout the day.
