"We had an amazing week visiting Anglesey in this comfortable well equipped cottage ."
The view from the garden is stunning and we were lucky enough to see a couple of amazing sunrises . We would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage to family and friends .

"This property was perfect in every way."
Really was home from home. Lovely quiet surroundings with fantastic views. It has everything you need for a quiet relaxing holiday. The property owners are warm and welcoming and leave a welcome pack containing coffee/tea/sugar/welsh cakes/washing up liquid and a lovely bunch of flowers that lasted the whole week. We where that over the moon with the property we booked it again to go next year.

-
"I love this cottage."
It is close to Beaumaris and a good place to get to other places from. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great holiday. The starter goods were very welcome. Already planning my next visit to this cottage.
-
"Beautiful cottage and spotless."
The view from the garden was amazing and it was very peaceful sitting in the garden. We got a lovely welcome from the owner and some essentials were left for us so that we could make tea and coffee when we arrived. It was great that salt ,pepper ,washing up stuff and toilet paper were all provided. The hair dryer was handy too. Would definitely return.

-
"Great property well mentained clean and in a great location."
We liked it so much we booked again for next year whilst still at the cottage. We visited the RSPB reserve at South Stack lighthouse near Hollyhead and managed to see Puffins. We also visited Snowdon and managed to walk up and down it. Beaumaris is a beautiful town within walking distance.
-

-
"Spacious peaceful modern cottage for 2 people on a farm."
Immaculate condition with beautiful views over Menai Straits & Snowdonia. Friendly helpful owners. Close to a golf course and plenty of beautiful beaches nearby as well as the historic town of Beaumaris.
-
"This was the second time my wife and I have stayed at this cottage."
The place is so quite and restful but only about 3 miles from Beaumaris. The bed was so comfortable, I slept longer than I normally do. There is a good selection of videos to watch and books to read, if you want to stay in.
-
"Lovely well equipped cottage, presented in a perfectly clean condition with helpful and friendly hosts."
View over the Snowdonia mountains was brilliant and Beaumaris is one of the most attractive towns on Anglesey.
-
"The property is simply perfect."
So clean, fresh and comfortable with good quality fixtures and fittings. Great peaceful location and lovely owner too.
-
"Listed as having wi-fi but very unreliable also very poor phone signal, both things ok if you know this before you book"
-

"The most restful and comfortable stay I have had in a cottage for some time."
-
"Excellent, couldn’t fault it."
-
"Immaculately clean, comfortable and well-equipped cottage."
-
"Wonderful little property, very clean, comfortable and peaceful with lovely views."
Helen was friendly and helpful if we had any questions. I wish I’d downloaded a few programs onto my tablet because although the WiFi was mostly ok for checking websites etc, it wasn’t fast enough for watching videos (we were in the middle of the countryside so it shouldn’t have surprised me that it wasn’t as fast as I have at home). My partner and I are tall so the mirror in the bathroom was too low for us but it wasn’t a big deal to cope with for just a week. The super king size bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Overall a lovely place to stay and explore Anglesey. (We also popped over to Caernarfon castle because it’s only about 25 minutes away from the cottage).

"Thank you Helen for a lovely week in your comfortable, cosy and well equipped cottage."
Walks from the door, but nowhere is far away on Anglesey. Great pub in Llanddona 4 mins away, The Owain Glyndwr does fish n chip Friday, a joy to not have to cook after your journey and a really good Sunday lunch.

"I only had a short quiet stay."
But I thoroughly enjoyed the break here. Despite visiting in the colder months, the views in the morning and evening of the sea and hills from the property were a pleasure to look at. The property is well insulated, warm, clean and cosy. There is plenty of space for parking. All the facilities were suitable for me. I had to do some remote working while I was there and the 4G signal in the area was consistent for mobile access. Although I'm sure it's subject to change, the Wi-Fi at the property (at time of writing) was consistent enough for me to complete some IT work and stream the odd show during the evening with no issues during my stay.
-
"A lovely property, well equipped and comfortable, high quality everything."
Highly recommended
-
"Very enjoyable stay in excellent property, with all the necessary amenities including a good kitchen."
Hosts are really friendly people. Sykes property information was accurate and administration for booking and detail supplied was excellent.
-
"Cottage was spacious, spotless and had everything we could need."
Owner was available and friendly and the welcome pack and fresh flowers a lovely treat.
-
"We stay in holiday cottages very regularly and must say that this cottage was exceptional."
The position and views were amazing. The ever changing colours of the views over the Menai Straits, sea, mountains and coastline including the Great Orme were stunning. Total peace and relaxation. The cottage is furnished and presented to an extremely high standard. Everything perfect for a couple who want to get away from it all. We loved it and will be booking again for next year.
-
"Lovely cottage, everything there, only issue was the small chair in the garden for my wife, moved dinning room chair in front of double doors, perfect."
There are sloping roofs upstaires, but Ok.
-
"The cottage is almost new and everything is immaculate."
It provides ideal accommodation for two people. A welcome pack of milk, butter, Welshcakes and flowers were provided. The location is rural but only a few minutes drive into Beaumaris. The only negative is the poor wifi reception. Ideally, relaxer chairs for the garden would have been nicer than the ones provided but this is a small point. We enjoyed staying here very much.
-
"A beautiful cottage in a perfect location."
Very peaceful with stunning views. Everything done to a high standard. When we arrived the small treats were very welcome. Lots of places close by to visit and the information left was very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would like to stay again in the future.
-
"We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage."

"I really loved this cottage - so peaceful compared to the main road I live on."
The noisiest sounds came from the neighbourhood pheasant and sheep. The owners put in so many little extras ( batteries, light bulbs etc)and there was also a welcome pack in the fridge and flowers on the table so really welcoming. Good quality equipment and furnishings too - plus a wonderful view - what more could one want ?
-
"We loved the cottage so much and the views we booked again for the only week free between now and October in October ."
Weather wasnt great but with such a beautiful quiet cottage for 2 with stunning views the weather didnt matter.
-
"Great property, great views, lovely quiet location."
A bit disappointed with the poor Wi-Fi signal but we managed.
-
"The holiday property was 1st class, booked for my parents to visit, standard in all respects extremely high, beautifully finished inside & out , like home from home, you need nothing, great views as we know as we live opposite !"
!! Highly recommended holiday let and will definitely be booking again . Thank you Helen and Ken
-
"Bad weather ."
... Place great tho...
-
"The cottage was furnished to a very high standard throughout."
Helen was on site shortly after our arrival and checked in with us to make sure everything was satisfactory. The cottage is in a very rural area and is therefore great for anyone wanting a a nice quiet break. My wife and I would most definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a holiday in Anglesey or indeed in North Wales, one reason being the outstanding views across the sea to Llandudno and the Great Orme.
-
"Thanks so much to Ken and Helen for their welcome and friendliness and for sharing their scrupulously clean, modern cottage with us."
We stayed for a short autumn break and it was everything we could have wished for. We’ll definitely recommend to friends and family and hope to return again.
-
"This is a wonderful property for a couple - convenient for exploring Anglesey and with beautiful views across to the Great Orme and North Wales coast."
Sparklingly clean, with good quality furniture and equipment, including a very comfortable large bed, there's nothing to find fault with. The owners are very helpful and there is plenty of useful information available in the cottage. We would highly recommend it.
-
"Lovely holiday property."
Very comfortable and well maintained.
-
"Beautiful little cottage, just right for a couple"
-
"This newly created holiday cottage is spacious, comfortable and fitted out to a high standard."
We enjoyed the garden and views of the Menai Straits. Beaumaris is close by and all of Anglesey can be explored from here. If you want peace and quiet in a rural setting this is the place for you.
-
"A quiet location with expansive views and on a clear night you can see the Milky Way."
Everything is new and there is plenty of space for two people. Milk, tea and coffee, butter and Welsh Cakes were provided on arrival. Helen made us feel very welcome and if you should have a problem is on hand to help. The visitor information is useful and we did several of the Visit Anglesey circular coastal walks. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
-

About the location
BEAUMARIS
Menai Bridge 4 miles.
Beaumaris is a well known historic town on the Isle of Anglesey situated on the Menai Strait and overlooking the Eryri (Snowdonia) mountain range, making for the most stunning of sunrises. With its medieval castle (now a World Heritage site) dating back to the reign of Edward I and its Victorian pier, gaol and courthouse, it is also known as a major centre for yachting. Beaumaris is rich in history and retains much of its medieval street pattern. It’s setting, diversity of architectural styles and periods, differing scale, open spaces, varying roofs and overall quality contribute greatly to the town’s character. There is a good selection of shops, restaurants and public houses, as well as fishing opportunities and boat trips in the town, plus a golf course nearby. Along the coast is a large bay called Red Wharf Bay; its Welsh name is Traeth Coch (Red Beach) and the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow and at low tide, almost 25 square kilometres (10 sq. mi.) of sand is uncovered providing safe bathing, perfect for wonderful family fun, fishing and miles of stunning scenic walks. Further afield is the port of Holyhead, which has regular ferry links to Dublin. Beaumaris is a good central base for touring Wales, in a beautiful location on the south coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, within easy reach of the spectacular mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia).
