• "We spent 2 glorious weeks at Dorberg enjoying the wonderful views in a very quiet and peaceful setting."

  Fenilheli is a great base from which to explore North Wales, being only a few miles from so many other lovely places, and is also a short hop over to Anglesey. Despite being there in October, we were blessed with some fabulous weather which enabled us to enjoy the balcony, the boating on the Menai Strait and some breathtaking sunsets. A photographer's dream. (And the beds are extremely comfortable).

  Great location with a very high standard of accommodation enjoyed the amazing views no matter what the weather was doing also nice that the owners are keen to ensure you have a good time with the comprehensive information guide and other extras like the dvds books and darts / table football good that the coastal path runs from your front door too very convenient

• "Dronberg was quite simply outstanding."

  It is equipped and furnished to a very high standard and had everything we needed for an amazing and relaxing holiday. The views are stunning across the Straits and the activities on the water and the sunset skies were perfect entertainment. For families or competitive couples the table football and darts is a great addition. We are already looking to book our next visit.

• "The seniors in our party didn't relish the stairs, not that much can be done about it."

  But otherwise it's hard to fault, a lovely home in a great setting that is also well-placed for exploring Anglesey and North Wales. Thoughtful touches like darts, table football, balcony furniture and the selection of games, books and DVDs were appreciated. We had a great holiday. One low kitchen cupboard was surprisingly warm, presumably beside a hot water pipe. A note on it to avoid storing perishables there would be useful. We took three cars. It's a tight fit if you do that! :D

We are sorry that the property is over three floors - whilst there is a downstairs ensuite, the main living space and balcony views are on the top floor. • ""Super family home: cosy bedrooms and gorgeous living room with unforgettable sea views."

  Given the splendid kitchen and gargantuan appetites fuelled by daily activities we opted for cooking a family dinner every evening. We were so well rested that we enjoyed 6 action packed days. Would love to come again, revisit and see more!"

• "We very much enjoyed our week at Dornberg."

  The property is in a fantastic position with views of the Menai Strait. It is comfortable, warm, spotlessly clean with good quality furnishings, towels & bed linen. We appreciated the detailed instructions on how to operate everything and hope to return one day. Future guests should note that the following were not provided; tea towels, soap in the bathrooms, washing up brush or sponge and we were not able to find an iron or an ironing board. The only cleaning materials were squirty toilet cleaner and an empty bottle of bleach.

• "We had a lovely stay at this beautiful house."

  The views are amazing and the house was well equipped, clean and cosy. We loved the balcony and watching the boats go by. The location was a great base for exploring Wales and Anglesey, which we did most days. The marina near by is also lovely and there is a little cafe there too. When we arrived there was a bottle of wine and some Welsh cakes which was a lovely gesture too. We loved our stay and would love to come back and explore more of the area. Thanks so much!

• "What a fantastic location with amazing views!"

  Sat on the balcony and watched the world go by. Also enjoyed walks from the house and very good food at the Lloft. So much to do in the area, we'll need to come back!
