  • "Immaculately presented cottage bungalow."

Well equipped except for no smart TV (so take a Firestick along if you want Prime, Netflix etc. if you want more choice than Freeview channels.) The only downside is the extremely tight turn down a lane between a house and a wall to access the single lane leading to the cottage. Bollards on one side to stop you hitting the house on the left which did have several knocks and scrapes on them. I found it scary in a Ford Kuga but just took the turn very slow after stopping, reversing then turning to the right again to be in the correct start position each time with both wing mirrors right down to watch the car in relation to the wall and bollards. A sigh of relief let out each time I got through. Owner and neighbours met were very pleasant.

  • "This is by far the best property we have stayed in, It has everything you could need and more."

. a great welcome selection of teas coffee suger fresh milk, so after a long journey you don't need to rush to the shops or unpack straight away even doggy bags on the side.. The property is very light & spacious a lovely cool breeze that flows through when hot but on the 2 days we had cold the heating was amazing... the decor is lovely modern yet still has a warm rustic feel very cosy ...the bedding very very comfortable..the garden lots of space & very well kept , private parking...everywhere was so clean...although the appliances are very modern they are very easy to use, I have spent a few hours on holiday just reading the manuals trying to work things & although they are provided you don't need them ...also has a great information folder with everything you could possibly want to know about the surrounding area from local shops, pubs, takeaway, beaches, walks, day trips very helpful...& every day out was literally within a 35 minute drive highly recommend Beaumaris & Trearddur Bay....it is of the main street very quiet no traffic & easy to find if you just follow owners advice....All in all FANTASTIC & we will definitely be back Thankyou For a Lovely Stay Kim & Ady Lowe xx

Great enclosed garden with footpaths close by to walk our dog before venturing out and about. The cottage was ideally situated for exploring Anglesey and North Wales. Only downside to this property is the very sharp right turn to get to it, which we knew about , but great to have safe off road parking.

  • "We enjoyed our stay and the accommodation was certainly dog friendly with a good sized enclosed garden and a good internal space which was well equipped."

The one feature which might prove for some to be an issue was the access by car. There’s a tight corner which has to be negotiated although the actual parking space is ample. The village is small and it doesn’t hold any real attractions. Nevertheless, it’s an ideal spot for exploring the island.

  • "This property does NOT have a secure , enclosed back garden so if you are taking pets beware of this."

We have just come back from a week and we had to clean up from other dogs coming into the garden on most days. Our dogs could not roam around the garden as you never know when others will show up ..The rest of the cottage was lovely BUT as we always try to book enclosed / secure gardens for our dogs this spoilt it all for us , i had to build a barrier on the patio steps to keep our dogs in and others out .... As for the narrow entrance road to the property , i would recomend anyone going here to park in the public car park opposite the pub and walk the 50 yards up to see what and how tight the turn is , plus how steep , we have a landrover and it was very tight , getting in took 2 movements getting out we managed in one .... Apart from the issue with other dogs the place was lovely and comfy , and thank you for the pint of milk as a welcome ....

You informed of the problem at 6pm on Thursday 27th June. My husband was at the property around 11am on the 28th June to assess the problem and by 4pm a temporary fix was in place by which time your time at the cottage was over. You had mine, my daughters and Sykes telephone number so am not sure why you left it so late to complain. Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely stay and found the cottage clean & comfortable."

A little waste paper bin would’ve been useful in one of the bedrooms/lounge as there was only the one bin in the kitchen, however this is just something that would’ve suited us and it’s very minor! We would’ve also preferred the long mirror to be in the double bedroom rather the twin, I found it easier to get ready in the twin bedroom as there was more space and the long mirror so had to wait for my daughter to wake up, again a minor thing that may not bother most people. A little tv in the kitchen would be nice but again only a recommendation. The immediate right turn to the property is very sharp and down a steepish slope so be very careful! There’s plenty of parking and the enclosed garden area is nice. Could’ve done with some info in the cottage about local attractions and places to visit, we looked through the guest book to get some ideas, although there were details on places to eat nearby. We would happily stay here again.

  • "My family and I had a lovely stay here - the interior was spotless, nicely decorated and very comfortable."

It had all the mod cons we needed with a lovely big, modern kitchen diner and a comfortable lounge. The outdoor decking area was also a nice feature. The beds were all super comfy too! And there were plenty of cupboards and drawers to put all your things. The cottage is also in an excellent location for Plas Newydd, Newborough beach, and not too far from Rhos Neigr. It's also near the Sea Zoo and Foel Farm, although we didn't go there as our children are now older. It's only 10 miles to Beaumaris and not too far from the mainland if you want to nip across there for the day. The water pressure seemed low, however, so it took a long time to fill a bath or use the shower to wash longer hair. Also if your car is any bigger than a Dacia Duster (like ours) you may struggle to get it into the parking space. On the whole it was a lovely cottage - we enjoyed our stay and I would definitely recommend it :)
