• "We have just spent a wonderful week at Storws."

  What a fabulous place! We were a family group, three couples, and it was wonderful to have three ensuite rooms. Everywhere was so spacious, and easy parking for three cars, as we had all arrived from different locations for our family gathering. Elin and John are very friendly hosts; welcome provisions a real treat, especially the fruitcake, devoured by everyone! We went up to their barn to watch calves being fed one afternoon; very special! The property is on a country road, a few miles to Beaumaris or Menai bridge in one direction, or the eastern bays of Red Wharf, Benllech (Pebbles Bistro HIGHLY recommended), and beautiful Moelfre, to the other. The hot tub was used daily; lovely memories of being with my sons, chatting amidst the warm bubbles! Very sad to come home. A holiday to remember!

  Friendly and helpful hosts who are there for you if you need anything, but don’t impose. Cottage is immaculate- well equipped with everything you might need. Feels like a home rather than holiday accommodation, just so comfortable and welcoming. Location is perfect for exploring Anglesey, Snowdonia & Llyn Penisula. Thank you for a perfect holiday

  Huge bedrooms, all with large ensuites. Great situation, with easy access in all directions. Hot tub, with lovely views, nice to see the cows and sheep all around us while relaxing. Owners next door are lovely and really helpful, great cake left for us to enjoy. Would highly recommend this property as a great place to stay.

• "This has to be one of THE best places we have stayed(and we"ve stayed in a lot) The house is stunning and everything about it is of the highest quality."

• "We have stayed at stores now for three years and every time we go Ellen and John make us feel really welcome."

  The cottages is really spacious for 5 of us who were there and my wife ,son and mum spent most nights in the hot tub which is in a great spot next to the cottage.   Facilities were of a high standard and location was great for travelling around the area. Elen & John were easy to contact if we needed anything but otherwise left us to enjoy the property. Hot tub was a welcome bonus to enjoy after a day exploring Elena welcoming cake was very tasty & much appreciated. Loved having Celt visit for a belly rub in a morning. Cheered us up for the day.   We weren't overwhelmed with dos and don'ts either verbally or written down, there were just one or two helpful pointers. Elen had left a lovely welcome pack of delicious cake and essentials. It is a spacious property, beautifully clean and with just the right amount of furnishings to make the property feel homely but without any concerns that there could be dust lurking! We felt at home staying in when it rained and there was a good range of books and games for us to enjoy. Elen suggested appropriate places we could visit with our grandson. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you.

  The house was perfect for 6 adults. Spotlessly clean, great location for exploring Anglesey. The owners were very friendly and helpful. If you need a larger place to stay the adjoining property 'Sgubor is just as wonderful. I would recommend this property and look forward to staying here again.

  The location was perfect & central to all the places we wanted to visit. The weather wasn’t the best but staying in such a big & beautiful accommodation meant we could keep 2 toddlers happy even on the rainy days. We will definitely be back to stay again!

• "Where to start?"

  This property was amazing! Situated on a working farm and within short driving distances to all the beautiful beaches and attractions of Anglesey and Snowdonia National park. John and Elen made us feel welcome from the outset! Checking in with us daily and really showing an interest in what we had been doing and making additional recommendations. John even took us to see the baby lambs which our grandson loved, so did I :). These wonderful people work so hard and we were in awe of both of them. There was a lovely welcome pack when we arrived and the hot tub was a lovely way to end our day. This property is a credit to both of them and I would highly recommend a visit! Diolch yn fawr yawn

• "Excellent property with plenty of space for the whole family and the added benefit of a hot tub."

  Extra little touches were great such as eggs, butter and cake, plus it was decorated for Christmas and a cot, highchair and baby gate we're also provided for our stay. Kitchen well equipped too. The property is only 10 minutes from Beaumaris or Red Wharf Bay (or Pili Palas for the little one) and Panton Arms just down the road. Lots of public footpaths nearby for walking too.

  The owners were very friendly and were on hand if anything was needed. The property was spacious, modern and had everything needed for a truly memorable holiday. The hot tub was so relaxing in the evening. On arriving the Christmas tree made it feel very welcoming and the cake and extras were also a pleasant surprise. We absolutely loved this property and will definitely be returning. A property the owners should definitely be proud of.

  Really clean and well maintained. I love that you hadn’t tried to cram as many rooms as possible into the property when you built it which gives the house a lovely sense of space and calm, exactly what you need from a holiday let!! • "We booked again for next year before we left!"

  ! This cottage is beautiful, there is loads of space, the amenities are brilliant and it's impeccably clean. The cottage is located on a farm and our toddler loved the tractors, sheep and Clint the black labrador, who was really friendly. The hosts couldn't do enough for us and Gwen's cake was beautiful. She even left milk, eggs, butter, tea and coffee to get us started. The location was ideal to explore Anglesey and North Wales. We would highly recommend this cottage.

• "This a fantastic barn conversion, set in a lovely rural location."

  Extremely quiet at night and the road nearby is never busy. It is located well to allow you to explore the local villages, towns, beaches and some great restaurants nearby. Byclan beach is lovely, great parking and a good cafe there also. Red Wharf Bay is a short drive. Some great restaurants here. The Host's are both lovely, helpful and accommodating. Some nice touches also.

  Could do with a handrail outside down the steps, only because I presume that people are looking for homes like Storws because of the ground floor bedroom, which again I’m presumeing that they are traveling with elderly parents as we were, it would be a plus if the patio in the kitchen opened to let more air in, but please be assured that Elen and John are really nice people and if you wanted anything they would do it for you, excellent property

• "We absolutely loved our stay at the storws cottage."

  It was a home from home, with a very comfortable nights sleep which was helped with the blackout blinds with the days getting longer. This was particularly helpful with having a baby to settle, in the early evening. The owners kindly made a cot available, which although we didn't need for our little one at this point was still appreciated. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful scenery and farmland which was perfect for us, as we enjoyed waking up to all the lambs out at present. The cottage wasn't far from most amenaties and the owners kindly left recommendations of places to eat and visit. Overall we felt very welcomed by the owners and we'll definitely be back!

  The owners were friendly and hospitable.The welcome pack included some delicious eggs and the best home cooked Bara Brith we have tasted to date. Although adjacent to a working farm it was peaceful and we were not disturbed. Lots of recently born lambs provided entertainment and cuteness in the fields opposite. Only minor niggle was the internet was slow and dropped out regularly.

• "A beautiful cottage set in a lovely quiet location, the decor was perfect and my family & I felt at home immediately."

  The hot tub was the highlight of our evening and even though the weather was cold and drizzly at times we made sure to use the tub every night. I would highly recommend this cottage and would definitely consider booking this place again. Thank you very much to our hosts who welcomed us warmly upon our arrival and a big thank you for the cake and the welcome pack. Only thing I felt was missing was a light in the yard where the tub was.

• "This was by far the best holiday property we have stayed in."

  The kitchen is very modern and contemporary with everything needed. The bedrooms are all very spacious with great ensuite facilities. The owners are very friendly and thoughtful. The surrounding area is very peaceful and quiet but still close to the major centres for shopping needs. We rate this accommodation as 5*+ and are looking forward to returning next year.

• "The cottage was far more than we expected."

  It is such a beautiful place we were going to book for September. Unfortunately it is fully booked all over the summer right through to November. I can see why, it's stunning. It is also a great base to go exploring Wales which I forgot how beautiful it is. We will definitely go back. They owners are such a lovely couple and they have thought of everything in this converted barn, we were totally blown away with it all . • "The cottage was well equipped and the hot tub was a bonus which made out stay a bit more special."

  The property is very spacious with all the bedrooms en-suite and there are two seating areas which is good for a group when you need a bit of time away from everyone. Nice big modern kitchen with more kit than we have at home! The location was well placed for travel to the rest of the island and back across to the mainland (we went to Conwy castle) and also close to some nice coast - we went to Benllech beach several times. Broadband is usable but only good for checking out travel plans, don't expect to use it with Netflix etc. if the weather is poor. Friendly owners next door if needed but private. Overall one of the best houses we have stayed at and we have no hesitation in recommending.

  it's large and well finished inside and out . The welcome pack was great especially Ellans Bara Brith cake! We could not believe how quite the area was i would sit outside at night and look at the stars , it's so dark with no light pollution! We liked the Panton Arms pub 1 mile down the rd We had a great Sunday Roast and they do great wood fire pizza

  The accommodation is exceptional and the owner’s were very helpful and friendly. Their recommendations on food from local establishments was spot on, we had some great meals and take away. We loved it, and are already looking to see when we could return. The only slight disappointment was that the WiFi was slow to the point of non existent which meant it was impossible to watch any tv other than normal channels. It’s very difficult and expensive to get good WiFi to rural locations/buildings so this is understandable and in any case it doesn’t detract from what is a brilliant holiday home that I wouldn’t have any hesitation in recommending to others.

  The photos don’t do it justice! So spacious, so clean, so comfortable and in such a beautiful setting. We have been coming to Anglesey for over 10 yrs and this is by far the BEST place we have ever stayed. We have already re-booked! Plus the hosts were so welcoming and so kind. Such a treat to arrive to Elan’s delicious Bara Brith cake too. This is a gem of a find and we had the most wonderful and happy week there. Thank you x

• "Hi, we’d had a bad experience at a farmhouse in the lakes at Christmas but thankfully Sykes stepped up to the mark and reimbursed what we paid so we decided to try a place in Wales, Storws cottage, Wow!"

• "A wonderful home with the most beautiful social space - the kitchen."

  I visited with some family for a well deserved break and we loved everything about it. The beds were comfy and everything including the bathrooms were immaculate! The hosts were very friendly and helpful and let us have privacy while being there if we needed them. The fire and the hot tub were fantastic, however we took our own gazebo as the hot tub had no cover and we wanted to use it in January. My only suggestion I have would be to have more crockery, cooking equipment and cutlery but having only just opened late last year there was enough to get by

  Really good location and easy to find. Brand new accommodation and very moderns. A few cleanliness issues with bedding and a few flies but nothing major. Would return but only recommendation is to get a gazebo or some sort of shelter over the hot tub.

  The owners are lovely and welcoming. The location serves as an excellent base for exploring Anglesey and North Wales. Lots of space too. We are already planning for staying a little longer next year. Quiet, private and relaxing environment. We stayed at Storws with our 14 year old Daughter and her school friend and they both loved it - especially the awesome Hot Tub. WiFi is broadband and okay although it won’t support streaming like a fibre based server would but this is the countryside not a city.
