  • "Another fabulous stay at Seascape for our family of 3 generations."

The house is just wonderful: well equipped, immaculately clean and the position unrivalled! Just a couple of minutes walk from a secluded cove with rock pools for the kiddies and lots to explore, it is all that we could wish for. Watching the setting sun across the water from the balcony is a real treat. The communication with the lovely owner, Mary, is excellent. This year was our second stay at Seascape and we are booked in for our third next year. We would love to keep this gem of a property our own secret place but that would be just too selfish!

Thank you so much for the brilliant feedback. I’m glad the children loved the little cove with the rock pools, I hope they caught some crabs! And the adults enjoyed the sunsets. We can’t wait to welcome you and your family back to Seascape next year. Property Owner

Easily accommodates and caters for 8 people. All the furniture is comfortable and the decor is lovely, with carefully chosen pictures and ornaments. The best thing was the absolutely STUNNING view. A great place to witness storm Kathleen! The only downside is that there's no upstairs loo, but for us, everything else made up for it.

  • "This was our second holiday in this amazing house."

It met the needs of all three generations. It was immaculately clean on our arrival and is equipped with everything one might need. The location is perfect, as is the view over the bay from the balcony. The bay is close enough to carry the kayaks down for an evening paddle after a barbecue in the garden. The beds are very comfortable and everyone slept well. Despite a doubtful forecast Anglesey diid not let us down and we were on the beach each day. The sad fact is that this will be our last stay in Seascape as the children now have a puppy and for future holidays we will need to find a property that can accept a dog. We will be lucky to find one as perfect!

Thank you very much for your brilliant review. I’m so sorry we can’t welcome you back again next year but we are unable to accommodate dogs as a family member if allergic, I hope you find another “Seascape” that does welcome dogs as I’m sure the children will have great fun with Sylvester on the beach next year. The house was decorated throughout in cheery seaside colours with lots of lovely tasteful prints and ornaments. The kitchen was really spacious and well equipped, and was the centre of much activity. The lounge worked brilliantly for the 8 of us with loads of space to sit and chill. The beds were really comfortable and we all slept well. The grandchildren loved having their own bedroom slightly away from the adults. The location of the house was excellent being on the outskirts of the village on the minor coastal road towards South Stack. Within a minute you were in a small cove and on the coastal path. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and tidy and again very comfortable. The kitchen looks brand new with dishwasher ,washing machine, fridge and freezer. Although we chose to eat out a lot of the time when we did cook everthing was again easy and convenient. The off road car port was also very handy especially when it was pouring with rain. We would like to thank Mary who regulary emailed to asked if everything was ok. For anyone wanting to eat out the Sea Shanty is the place to go. The bedrooms are all of a good size, the main bathroom is large. The kitchen has good storage and equipment, though the freezer needs to be bigger. Our only frustration is that for a house sleeping 8, there’s only space for 6 at the table and on the sofas. Otherwise, this is a wonderful house to stay at to explore Anglesey, or just to play on the rocks & beach. Morrison’s & Tesco both under 10 mins away for easy food shopping. Would recommend the local Chinese takeaway (Imperial Palace) though phone your order in. We left the menu. The Sea Shanty restaurant is really good down by the main beach too.

The upside-down design meant that we could make the most of the spectacular views. We appreciated the extra touches with all the pictures, accessories and ornaments having a seaside theme. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms a good size, particularly the master bedroom. The huge lounge meant that we could all be together to play games or simply 'chill' together. We managed to seat 8 of us round the table for family meals. We were delighted to find games and books already in the house and the children in particular enjoyed the Yes/No game, chess and Monopoly. We were a group of two families with 4 adults and 4 children between us. The older boys loved being able to go down to 'our' beach whenever they wanted. The weather was very windy so we were limited in our time to sit out on the balcony, but we certainly made the most of it. The house is in the most beautiful location with spectacular views wherever you look. We found it easy to access Trearddur Bay and also went further afield to Beaumaris, Benllech and Bangor Pier, the latter being excellent for crabbing. We also made use of the swimming pool at Holyhead. Would we stay there again? There's no question, a resounding YES. Thank you also for the gift awaiting us on the table on our arrival!

Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!
