  • "Lovely house, very comfortable furniture/ beds."

The property overlooks the mountains including Snowdon and off road parking is a real bonus in Llanberis. The house comfortably accommodated 4 adults. Snowdonia is a lovely part of the world and the village is well placed for easy access to explore North Wales.

The accommodation is very comfortable and clean and a perfect place to stay for exploring Llanberis and the surrounding area.

  • "Brilliant little place, loved it."

The shower in the upstairs toilet needed the shower head holder tightening up and the front door is a bit tricky as it feels like it's been forced a fair bit over time. Very minor maintenance issues. Reckon it could do with some sort of extraction over the hob also.

  • "We booked the property for 3 nights over the new year."

The property offers a very warm and welcoming ambience, We particularly like the reversed living setup with the living areas on the first floor, bedrooms on the ground. The open plan living is very spacious with a modern and homely feel. The location is fantastic, elevated above the town with amazing views surrounded by hills and mountains, and only a short walk down to the lake, which has great walks all around. A great base to travel by car to nearby beauty spots.

Thank you for such a fantastic review. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and hope to welcome you again in the future. Kind regards, Llety'r Wyddfa. Property Owner

About the location

LLANBERIS

Caernarfon 7 miles; Bangor 10 miles; Betws-y-Coed 17 miles.

Dominated by the grandeur of the Snowdon Massif, Llanberis is flanked by two lakes, Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris and is one of the most popular mountain tourist centres in the Snowdonia National Park. In fact, Llanberis is something of a mecca for walkers and climbers, being the starting point for the ascent of Snowdon - the highest mountain in England and Wales. The ascent can be made either by train via the Snowdon Mountain Railway, or on foot along one of the many routes to the summit. Each year, major racing events attract thousands to the area: The fast Snowdon Race to the summit, held in July every year, a triathlon known as the world's toughest, and The Snowdonia Marathon, held in October - a gruelling 26-mile course that starts and finishes in Llanberis, circumnavigating the Snowdon Massif. The area is also popular for mountain biking, open water swimming and stand up paddle boarding. Within Llanberis itself there are excellent places to eat and drink and a great choice of shopping. Just 7 miles from Llanberis on the coast is Caernarfon with its magnificent castle and town walls and close by are National Trust properties at Penrhyn, Plas Newydd and Bodnant Gardens.
