The large patio window allows you to sit watching the view and its ever changing colours. The summer house catches the last drop of sunshine of the evening and is a lovely spot to read, have a G&T and admire the view, Parking is easy and secure on the property. Very well placed property to visit Menai, Beaumaris, Penmon and National Trust properties in the area. I would highly recommend.

  • "Hudolfa was a lovely home from home property."

Very spacious , well equipped , very comfortable, great views. It’s about a 20 minute walk down the hill into Menai Bridge town and you can’t walk easily to Beaumaris. Ok place to stay if you use your car all the time. We are walkers and did a walk to Beaumaris , turning right out of the house and dropping down a steep hill, coming out by the church & cemetery. Not a casual walk. We loved our stay as usual on Anglesey. A pint of milk in the fridge would have been helpful on arrival. Other than that we enjoyed our week

Thank you so much for your lovely review and so glad you enjoyed your stay. We leave tea, coffee and sugar for our guests along with Elderflower Presse & Welsh cakes on arrival. As so many people take a variety of milk we have decided not to provide any more as it was wasted most of the time and thrown away. Property Owner

The property was spotlessly clean with everything needed for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. And the views! From the lounge and bedroom you see across to Snowdonia and from the summerhouse the view of Menai Bridge is fabulous! Hudolfa is handily placed for both Menai Bridge and Beaumaris, with easy access to both bridges back to the mainland. For a stunning beach go to Newborough, loads of space to park and views across the bay to the Lleyn peninsula. We did a 2 hour boat trip from Beaumaris with Seacoast Safaris that was brilliant too. We had a brilliant week, Hudolfa is a little gem and we hope to visit again!

  • "We would highly recommend this property and hope to return soon."

Spotlessly clean on arrival with a lovely powerful shower and incredible views, the apartment's facilities were first class. We would have given it 5 stars as, although there are 3 pans, for our needs we would have personally liked a larger pan so we could cook casseroles and also Pyrex dishes with lids for the microwave. The bed is comfy but bounces quite a bit when your partner moves so that takes a bit of getting used to if yours isn't like that at home. Thank you very much for the Welsh cakes and elderflower cordial- a lovely treat.

Thank you for your lovely comments regarding the property. We will take note of the lack of casserole dishes/one large cooking pot and purchase these for future guests. Its a difficult one with mattresses as we have gone for a medium comfort which would hopefully suit most guests needs. Hope to see you again in the future! Property Owner

  • "Almost perfect!"

My first impression was that this could be a 5 star property with its superb, constantly changing views, large rooms and lovely kitchen and shower room but we were shocked and disgusted when we stripped the bed before leaving to find that we had been sleeping on a really filthy mattress! We feel badly let down and don't understand how you can charge £660 per week for this! My other observations are: 1. No blind on the shower room window, my wife felt uncomfortable showering without this. 2. Front door difficult to open. 3. Bedside drawers difficult to open or close. 4. trip hazard by the bedside cabinet near the bedroom door (I tripped twice during the night). The location of the wardrobe and bed could be swapped to fix this. 5. No toilet roll holder (the stacker is useless). 6. There was a mismatch of crockery and cutlery in the kitchen, obviously left over from when the apartment was a Grant flat. And no pizza cutter or large enough chopping board. Maybe it's early days for this property but I would recommend that the bed be replaced urgently.

I am terribly sorry to learn that you did not enjoy your stay at Hudolfa. I am somewhat perplexed by your comments as it would have been much more appreciated had I been made aware at the time. I fully accept your comments reference to the mattress as this as unknown to us at the time until your review. The mattress has since been replaced in time for this week. I would like to provide assurances to yourself and our future guests that the mattress was only in-fact 18 months old. At present there is no blind in the shower room as the frosted window is not overlooked and have not seen the purpose to provide one as no-one has mentioned this before. I am really sorry you found it difficult to open the door, due to the safety aspects of the solid composite door, you might have found it difficult to open. I am sorry to learn that you had fallen over during your stay as I feel we could have assisted you and provided additional linen or bedding following any accident. Rest assured, there is a toilet roll holder provided, this is a freestanding model and may appear to look different to the norm. You will be delighted to learn that I have now added a pizza cutter and a large chopping board alongside new crockery and cutlery. Thank you very much for your comments as customer feedback is very important to help us continually improve out standards. Best wishes, The Owner. Property Owner
