  • "The Granary was as described… comfortable and cosy, because of sloping ceilings and stairs may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility."

The summerhouse, pond and woodland were lovely… The central location of the property meant it was easy to access all corners of Anglesey easily. Hosts Nick snd Helen were excellent.

  • "The granary is the upstairs accommodation, all on one floor, kitchen, dining/sitting room, bathroom, twin bedroom and double bedroom."

As the accommodation is in the attic there are low beams and the slope of the roof so be aware that a bumped head is always a possibility. It didn't bother us at all, it all adds to the quaintness of the property. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Helen the owner had left a welcome pack in the kitchen with tea bags, coffee, biscuits etc. There was a folder on the dining table with loads of information on the island, good beaches, local amenities and places to visit. All the rubbish is segregated for disposal or recycling hence there are 3 bins in the kitchen for the different types of refuse. Each property has it's own parking bay and we noticed that there was at least one EV charging point. The property is a little remote, very dark and quiet on a night but that suits us just fine. We can certainly recommend the granary to anyone who likes to get away from the busier areas of Anglesey.

  • "Really lovely property, and excellent hosts."

We knew there was a height restriction due to the eaves, and this did take some getting used to! The only possible improvement would have been to include some vegan treats in the welcome pack. Otherwise brilliant! Would totally recommend.

(Thanks to Helen my Grand-daughter now enjoys eating tomatoes) My Grand-daughter was impressed with the ducks and freedom of the grounds which included an Orchard and Summer house with books, boules and binoculars and there were also hammocks to use.

It had everything we needed to give us a good holiday on Anglesey. One of my main reasons for choosing it was the provision of electric charging for my car. This worked very well. The cottage was clean and comfortable and the owners Helen and Rick were very friendly and helpful. In a lovely location for a quiet holiday, with Snowdon only a short drive away.
