"Absolutely beautiful place to stay and wow what a view - cottage was extremely comfortable with all you need but I did miss my cooker/oven (sorry) thankyou so much we would love to stay again ❤ Perfect for accessing the whole island !"

"Surpassed all expectations."
A wonderful house, garden, facilities etc. A really relaxing base and centrally placed for visiting the whole of Aglesey.
-
"Comfortable holiday home with great views."
Well catered for your stay, with everything thought of. Nice touches with extras when arriving at cottage. Definitely recommend.

"Wendy was an excellent host we met her once and had a nice chat and after that we were left to our own devices until the day of departure she said goodbye."
The accommodation was excellent with all the equipment needed to have an enjoyable holiday. The weather turned Cold for 2 or 3 days and the heating was put on for us which was great. The house is situated almost in the middle of the island so is a good location to visit the whole island. I hope we will be back.

"First class property."
Very well appointed. Nice to have 2 bathrooms. Excellent owner living next door. Looked after us very well. Quiet location with lovely views. Village is in the centre of the island so handy for visiting everywhere. Would certainly return.

"We recently stayed here as a base for our honeymoon and it was amazing!"
It was a beautiful basecamp for our special holiday. The light and airy décor and the aesthetics of the garden area that was ours to use made it feel as if we were abroad rather than a staycation. It was a little slice of Costa del Anglesey. The facilities provided are the perfect balance of just enough to survive but not too fully functioning that you are encouraged to go out and explore and try the local eateries. Yes the owners are technically on site as the property is adjacent to their own but apart from a little hello at the beginning of our holiday they kept themselves out of they way and weren't intrusive at all allowing us our privacy and freedom to enjoy ourselves. I would say for a couple looking for a little escape this place was perfect. Beautifully romantic and very impressively well kept.

"Lovely property in a beautiful setting mid Anglesey."
-
"The cottage was perfect for our needs."
We ate in twice using the BBQ provided and ate out twice in a nearby restaurant. Although near a road, there was little nuisance from tragic The garden was lovely. Inside the house, having 2 bathrooms was great! The bed was extremely comfortable. The downstairs chairs were a little uncomfortable and it was unclear which bins outside were for general waste and recycling Also the house is hard to find and the sat nav thought it was house round the corner so it would have helped to have a sign outsideof the rental property not just the main property

"A wonderful annexe/cottage."
Set in the countryside, in the middle of the island, so visiting anywhere is really simple. The annexe has everything you need. Very clean and tidy, with wonderful seating areas outside. Parking on-site. A lot of time, thought, and effort has gone in to this property.

"Beautiful holiday accommodation."
Everything you could need and extremely clean. Beautifully decorated and lovely small touches. Very thoughtful gift left for our arrival. Highly recommend.

"Booking was easy and straight forward."
Cottage was exactly as described. It was all fresh and clean, even the towels were white and fluffy. Nice surprise welcome pack. Lots of kitchen equipment provided, just no oven which we knew before we arrived and wasn’t a problem. The weather was a bit chilly but the owners adjusted the heating and it was cosy and warm. A bbq, fire pit and outdoor seating for warmer weather plus a washing machine. We had a great time, thanks very much.

"Excellent accommodation with lots of thoughtful extras within the property."
Clean cosy and comfy with tasteful decor. Kitchen is a bit small, but big enough for 2 people.

"A truly idyllic place."

"This property was in a very central location so ideal for exploring Anglesey, everywhere we went seemed to be about a 20 minute drive away!"
It was very light, clean and airy and was ideal for the 2 of us for our 3 night stay. It was very well equipped, and spacious apart from the kitchen but thankfully we had seen that from other reviews. There is no proper cooker, just a 2 ring hob which is in the cupboard and a combi microwave so it was a bit of a struggle juggling everything to cook a meal. The images on the website aren't up to date as there is now a wooden kitchen trolley which was extremally useful, as well as a plate rack on the wall. It was a pity there was no freezer but again we knew this before we stayed, there was just an ice box in the fridge which never really got cold. The property is very private, we did occasionally hear the owners but never saw them which was actually a bit odd! We appreciated the jug of milk in the fridge and lovely chocolate cakes left for us! We would certainly stay there again for another short break.

"Well positioned for visiting the island."
Lovely views. Good parking.

"A well maintained, comfortable, clean and cosy property, well positioned for touring the island and its features."
Owner vey helpful and at hand for any problems and advice. We will definitely return at some future date.

"We had very warm welcome and enjoyed a fabulous week in this beautiful property."
It is ideal for two people and being located in the centre of Anglesey all places are easy to reach. The large patio is the ideal spot to sit and look at the rural views and to enjoy a morning coffee or evening tipple! The only slightly negative comment I would make is that the kitchen area is very compact. However, all the equipment needed is there ( except a freezer) and with careful juggling meals can be prepared. The property was exceptionally clean and nothing was too much trouble for the owner. We both really enjoyed our stay and hope to return sometime.

"Absolutely Ace in all aspects"

"The photos and reviews already posted were spot on."
The accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable. The owners had thought of everything. A welcome pack on arrival was indeed very welcome and appreciated. The outside patio and furniture looked extremely inviting, but the weather unfortunately prevented us enjoying the beautiful views with a glass of wine. We would definitely recommend a visit to Drws y Gorlan.

"The accommodation was superb no complaints about anything, everything was clean tidy and to hand, with a nice welcome welsh cake, tea/coffee, milk sugar and even a little fruit."
Outside was overlooking fields and the owners garden. Diolch Drws y Gorlan for a very relaxing break.

"The accommodation was first class."
Spotlessly clean, everything is to a high standard and the owners, Bob and Wendy had just about thought of everything we would need to make our stay as comfortable as you could possibly get. They gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble. The private patio area is well laid out with seating, wood burner and BBQ. We had many cosy evenings sat under the stars watching passing satellites and the odd shooting star. We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Drws y Gorlan and will definitely be returning next year!
