  • "Absolutely stunning property…."

Perfect for our recent stay to celebrate our friend’s 60th birthday. Top quality everything….crockery, cutlery, bed linen towels etc. An outside light by the hot tub would be really useful this time of year as we were in the hot tub in the evening. Other than that it was perfect and we will definitely be back and recommend to others. Thank you

  • "The Farmhouse was beautiful, as was the surrounding area."

It is sat within a gated area, so we felt very safe and secure. The house itself was great and had everything we needed. The decor is pure luxury! We spent our days out and about exploring and our evenings back at the Farmhouse chilling out in the hot tub or watching TV in the cosy sitting room. We all felt so relaxed and honestly didn't want to leave. The little treats left by the hosts was also a lovely touch and just made it extra special. Lauren was fab and responded to a couple of queries I had really quickly. Also, a shout out to Jimmy and Maggie who we met as we were packing up the car to leave, such beautiful, loving cats! We will definitely be returning in the future.

  • "Great property."

We have already said we’ll be back again soon. Everything is done to the highest speck. Luxury carpets, curtains, a high end kitchen and appliances. Beautifully decorated. Excellent correspondence when we had a few questions. Not criticisms just a few things that would make it even better. There are no shaver points anywhere -can’t charge electric toothbrushes or shavers. Also, a wooden spoon for cooking in the kitchen would be useful as there’s nothing to cook with -only large serving spoons. Some storage in the bathrooms would also be great as the only place to put things was on the window ledge in the en-suite and on the sink ledge in the main bathroom. A chest of drawers in the main bedroom would also be useful as there were only two drawers -one either side in the bedside cabinets.

  • "The Farmhouse."

...what can I say. The cottage was bigger than we expected. The cleanliness was outstanding, the housekeeping girls were lovely. Had the pleasure of meeting Lauren & the 2 cats, what a lovely lady. The quality of the soft furnishings is second to none, bed were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you possibly need apart from cheese grater lol. The hot tub was just what very relaxing could just do with a mat inside so you down dip on the floor, when coming in.

There is everything that you could possibly need for your stay, the whole place was immaculate, spacious and the hot tub is always an added bonus after a busy day sightseeing. Also thank you so much for the extra treat of biscuits, fizz, milk and roses. We would definitely recommend anybody to stay here as it is a fantastic place.

  • "Four of us septuagenarians had a lovely week at the Farmhouse, using it as a base to walk most of the coastal path."

Our initial problem finding the house was due to the “blue” house in the directions having recently been repainted!! The house was stylish and spotless, with a nice relaxing living area and a well equipped kitchen area. We just wished the fridge was a bit bigger for bc a self catering group. The beds were very comfortable and Lauren was quick to respond when we asked for one of the rooms to be made up into a twin room although the resulting single beds were rather narrow. After our days walking, we really appreciated the 3 spacious shower rooms, the bath and the hot tub. It was nice to meet Lauren just before we left and we were able to tell her how much we had enjoyed our stay.

  • "The house was fantastic, you could tell from the second you walk in the quality to which it was decorated / finished."

There were so many nice touches such as a welcome bottle of Prosecco and a lovely hand written card. The hot tub was well maintained as was the area within the compound. We loved it. The only downside, for us, was the number of steps in the garden, we knew there were some steps, as advised on the website, however the photos did not quite show all of them. One of our party was not great on their feet and did find it slightly difficult to navigate them but, this did not take away from the rest of the house and how much we enjoyed our time.

  • "We had a perfect stay at the house, it’s even more beautiful than the pictures!"

We were a party of 6 friends staying at the farmhouse. It’s surrounded by beautiful countryside and 2 of the bedrooms looked out onto a field of cows and sheep (the lambs were adorable and we loved watching the farmer feed them each morning). The house is done to a high standard, every detail has been thought about from each of us having our own dressing gowns to providing Nespresso coffee capsules for the coffee machine. The hot tub was great and we loved eating outside on the decking for our breakfast and evening meals (there’s outdoor seating and a table which isn’t in the pictures + a BBQ). Just a small thing outdoor cushions for the seats would be nice). Lauren responded to any questions very promptly and was welcoming, nothing was too much hassle. Cannot recommend it enough for a relaxing getaway. It’s the first time we’ve visited Anglesey and we have fallen in love, what a beautiful part of Wales.

  • "What an absolutely stunning property."

Fabulously decorated to a very high and very tasteful standard. Complete with all the necessary mod cons, and those are also of an excellent high quality. Not only a Nespresso machine but a milk frother too, like home from home for me. We wanted for nothing! The beds were amazing. The bedrooms so light and airy. Showers in all the bathrooms were just fantastic. Dressing gowns included for us all, and a fresh pile of towels for each of us. Great parking areas. Lovely hot tub and a perfect little gym if you need to work off any excesses.

  • "Absolutely stunning property, exceptionally clean and was welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco and biscuits on arrival!"

Hot tub chemicals topped up regularly, only criticism would be that we could have done with one or two more dishwasher tablets and Beds were slightly firm for my liking, but other than that, 10/10 experience and would definitely stay again!

Thought of everything, nice towels even a make up cloth and robes. Nice quiet place, not too much noise going on, lots to do in surrounding areas. Great kitchen with tea/coffee etc and a lovely bottle in the fridge. Love the ‘honest box’ fridge idea, even tho we didn’t use it. Nice bedrooms, very roomy cottage. It was a lovely stay and would definitely book again.

  • "What an incredible Christmas Holiday we had, as a reunited family, at The Farmhouse."

We all connected as we all live in different parts of the country and our stay was not only made amazing by being on beautiful Anglesey, but the property was honestly - Excellent. Beyond our expecatations. The festive decorations were stunning, elegant, simple and just enough to make our Chrsitmas holiday a very special one. The fact that this property had everything we needed, and the extras made for any easy, relaxing, and very merry and happy time. The facilities are superb, spotlessly clean and of the best quality. The hot tub (which was checked regularly) and gym were perfect for the wet and windy days, and the location of the accomodation is perfect, close enough to some really lovely places to visit, but far enough away to feel away from the hustle and bustle of life. Thanks so much to the hosts, who were available when we had a question, and communicated so quickly. Its very reasssuring to know there is somone to chat to, should you need to. Great place to stay and would 100% recommend to anyone checking out The Farmhouse.

!! We had a lovely time there and would recommend to anyone. It was amazing to live in such luxury during our week there. The finishes and attention to detail were excellent given the recent renovations. Our holiday cottage had everything we required during our time there to suit our needs as a family. We felt there was excellent communication with the owners about slight amendments to the dates of our stay. They were very accommodating with this and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for our stay, we feel lucky to have found this little gem on Anglesey. 5 stars all day long!

  • "We have just returned from a lovely stay at The farmhouse."

We chose this accommodation as it was fairly central for exploring the island and also because of the beautiful decor and facilities. We were not disappointed in the slightest. The Farmhouse is stunning with high quality fixtures in the kitchen and bathrooms which were beautiful . There were little luxury extras like a coffee pod machine and milk frother and the owners kindly left us some milk so we could have a coffee following our journey. This is a recently refurbished accommodation and we felt very lucky to be staying here as one of the first guests. Each of the 3 bedrooms were spacious and had its own individual feel. The master was huge with dual aspect windows which made it light and airy. My husband and I stayed with our older teen daughter and her friend and they also loved the house and it’s contemporary yet farmhouse feel. Of course the hot tub was a winner too. I think this accommodation would appeal to families or as we also thought a group of friends or 3 couples who would have plenty of space and a choice of 3 bathrooms to ensure no queues each morning. I would recommend to anyone who prefers a more luxurious stay, I will be returning

  • "There where a few issues with the place however I really cannot say much too bad about it."

The thing that we thought that you might be able to improve next time is how often you come and check in the hot tub. The thing was that we used the hot tub every night so by the last day it start to become dirty and had not a very nice smell to it. So just checking on it daily making sure that there was enough chemicals in it so it wouldn't get to that point. One other thing that's just some general feedback is that some of the dishes where dirty when we went to use them. Meaning that I ended up having to wash alot of dishes before we could use them. Last thing was that we only had 2 dishwasher tablets which is fine if your only stay for 2 nights or so. However we had upgraded our holiday to stay long and the place was beautiful and had alot of different thing to do. But we could of done with mabye one or two more tablets. I understand this place is very new and it's beautiful you can see the love and care that George and Lauren have for the place, it's a love and stunning place to stay. You where both super helpful hosts and everything was lovely. I hope that everything goes well for you both. Thank you for a lovely stay and the suggestion that you made make us want to come back again!

The property was to a really high standard and had everything we needed. We loved it all especially relaxing in the hot tub. My adult sons and partner made use of the gym regularly and were really happy. The welcome pack was useful and we hired kayaks and bodyboard which were easily stored in the boot room. All I can say is we couldn’t have asked for a better break in a lovely well cared for property.

About the location

LLANFECHELL

Cemaes Bay 1.5 miles; Holyhead 15 miles.

Llanfechell is a small village situated one and a half miles from Cemaes Bay, on the northern tip of Anglesey in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village gets its name from the nearby 12th century Mechell Church, which has been extended over the years and where it is believed that St Mechell is buried. The ancient Parys mountain copper mines are seven miles away, with their lunar-like landscape and the area is popular with geologists and archaeologists due to the rock formations at Mechell Mountain and the several ancient monuments scattered around, reputed to be some of the oldest in the world. Llanfechell is home to a village pub, which serves traditional ale with a warm welcome. Nearby, the pretty seaside village of Cemaes Bay is home to three pubs, a few shops, a natural sheltered harbour and a sandy beach, edged by grassy cliffs and ideal for safe bathing and family fun. The whole of the Isle of Anglesey is renowned for its miles of stunning and varied coastline, offering wonderful walking and cycling opportunities, along with birdwatching, excellent watersports, fishing and many quality golf courses.
