• "Great property in a quiet area of Llanrug."

  Short drive to many interesting places, especially Llanberis for Snowdon and other coastal towns. Lovely very spacious cottage for a couple. It has all the amenities you’d expect, including TV apps and WiFi. Very modern and clean but cosy. We would highly recommend!

• "The neighbours of the holiday property, made it very clear that they do not welcome dogs."

  There is no enclosed garden or area to be able to let your dog out. There are no local surrounding areas within walking distance to be able to exercise your dog, off of a lead. You have to drive.

• "Wonderful accommodation, spotlessly clean, modern, stylish and well equipped Comfortable especially the bed, excellent bathroom especially the bath/shower."

  Very nice welcome pack and information book which was very useful. Perfect location for exploring the stunningly beautiful North Wales area. Our first, but certainly not our last visit. We, including our dog, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Diolch yn fair iawn.

• "We have had the pleasure of staying at the Bay Tree Cottage for a week-long holiday, and we absolutely loved it."

  The cottage is newly-renovated, modern and smart, and has all the facilities we needed. The kitchen area was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. The location was absolutely perfect for North Wales, all the big hikes, as well as Angelsey. Most importantly, we were able to bring our two whippets, who loved their holiday too. We had a great time and we would love to come back and stay at Bay Tree Cottage again.

• "We had such a lovely time, the local shops, chip shop, pub were so handy."

  Local pub Sunday lunch was amazing. The cottage had everything we needed, the shower was fabulous. Would definitely return. Although I’m sure the public transport would be fine we did need a car to go further afield, there’s not really much to do within walking distance.

• "Lovely little property, very clean."

  Would benefit from a small patio area outside the door to be able to enjoy the evening sun, and possibly a gate, as the neighbour made sure we knew he didn't like dogs (We have 2 Golden Retrievers who just wanted a bit of fuss)

• "Beautiful little cottage in the perfect location to explore the area."

  We enjoyed great days out in snowdonia national park, coastal towns and across the bridge in Anglesey. Living area was spacious with a great tv and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for the week. The bedroom was large with a huge bed and windows over looking the field in front (and looked out to the most beautiful sunsets), and the shower was great. Lovely decoration throughout and the small welcome gifts were greatly appreciated by us and our dog. I’d recommend a stay here for a couple with or without a dog, and we will more than likely revisit in the years to come.

• "We loved the cottage."

  It was bigger than we expected and has been done to a very high standard. The bed was extremely comfy and the owners even left a little box of goodies. Short drive to snowdon and within driving distance of most places in north wales. Little shops nearby too.

  Spotless. Everything that you could need is supplied. (However, a shower mat would be good) Good location for visiting coast and country.

• "Lovely little cottage which we found to be spotlessly clean and updated to a a very high spec."

  The whole cottage, and most importantly, the bedroom was very comfortable and I feel that a lot of care and attention had been given to the whole cottage making it a very pleasant stay - loved the bee theme too! Great location to visit lots of beautiful areas nearby and nice to see the horses in the adjoining field. Maybe a little attention to tidying the outside of the cottage would be beneficial but other than that we found everything to be perfect. Thank you for the welcome pack for us and the biscuits for our pup. We would definitely return.

• "The cottage was of the highest standard and I can't fault it apart from maybe a new sofa."

  The outside area does need some attention as I found out on a wet Sunday morning. A warning to anyone walking to the bins, the slate path down to the bin area is extremely dangerous when wet. I slipped over and suffered a sprained wrist. I feel this needs urgent attention, apart from this it was a lovely place to stay.

• "The cottage was a wonderful place to stay for our holiday in Snowdonia."

  The internal of the cottage was lovely and comfortable and defiinitely warm in cold weather. The cottage is also located in a great place close to Llanberis and Caernarfon with easy access to all of Snowdonia and Anglesey. Highly recommended place to stay!

• "Just book it honestly."

  My partner and I booked a weekend away here to relax away from our busy stressful jobs. The place is like a retreat. The bedroom in particular is so comfortable and calm with the views of the farm land with horses in. It smelled amazing, the bed was the comfiest we’ve ever slept in. Bathroom is lovely and modern, two can fit in the bathtub! We loved the addition of the log burner and the fact the whole house heating is controlled by the flick of a button. The smart tv in the living room has Phillips hue lighting which changes with whatever you have on the tv! This made for some awesome movie nights. Overall this is the best cottage we have had the pleasure of staying in. We were very sad to leave it and hope to return in the near future. The welcome package of Welsh cakes, tea, coffee and Prosecco was greatly appreciated but we would suggest possibly having some milk in the package for the hot drinks. The only other improvement we noted was that the sofa could do with updating it’s pretty flat and deflated. Thank you for having us!!

• "A lovely clean , comfortable and very tastefully decorated little cottage within very easy reach of the sights and attractions of stunning north west Wales ."

  Well equipped but just to note that the property has a washing machine and not a washer/dryer as stated . Would happily rent out again.

• "Accommodation was very well equipped and comfortable , main problem on arrival was seeing the driveway to property which was a massive puddle and mud which made it awkward to walk to main road { with a 35kg dog }, property is not dog friendly , dogs are not allowed on carpeted areas which we didnt know until we read the welcome pack in property ."

  This property is basically for couples with no pets

  Hi David, Thank you for your feedback. It’s is disappointing to hear that you felt the property wasn’t dog friendly. We have had many guests with dogs and are dog lovers ourselves. The apartment has spacious wooden floors apart from the bedroom which is carpeted. We request that dogs are kept out of this area to respect guests with allergies. • "Our stay at the cottage was lovely the cottage was perfect we couldn’t fault anything the welcome gift was appreciated."

  It was lovely to wake up in the mornings and see robins and blue tits in the hedges chirping away. The road to the property was quite bad to drive through as stated in the information and because of heavy rain you couldn’t set of walking unless you had wellies which we didn’t maybe road could be fixed we will definitely book again though enjoyed every minute

• "Had a great stay at Bay Tree Cottage, a really nice place for a short break."

  A couple of suggestions, it would be good to have some coat hooks/ coat rack available, there was a reclycle bin but no bin for the black plastic bag this would be beneficial. Really good that you supply sponges, washing up liquid etc however would be perfect if there was some kitchen towel and hob cleaner

• "Beautiful cottage renovated to a very high standard."

  A huge comfy bed and high spec kitchen and bathroom made for an extremely comfortable stay in this beautiful part of Wales. Everything was catered for. Mount Snowdon and local attractions are close by, also convenience stores, pubs and eateries. Communication with owners was very easy and they were helpful with recommendations for places to eat. The welcome pack was a thoughtful touch. We had a great holiday!
