"I would like to exclaim how absolutely beautiful Rhianfa Cottage was."
We were looking for a cottage to relax and get away from it all after my dads passing. It was more than expected and we are already planning to come back maybe more than once (as soon as possible!) The house was a home from home and the owner was absolutely lovely and more than happy to help us. We cannot thank him enough. We would also like to compliment the decor and facilities which were outstanding. Thankyou to the host and to this stunning property. We will be back!

"This is a lovely little cottage and it had everything we needed for our short stay."
The issue was that it wasn’t very clean. The grill pan in the oven had not been cleaned and was very greasy, there were several glasses that had to be washed before use. There were a lot of cobwebs around the property and it was very dusty. Think it needs a general overhaul and deep clean to restore its quaint character.

"Lovely property and we have already booked for best year, thank you"
-
"Although the property is in a beautiful location and the facilities offered are adequate for a really lovely stay it was spoiled by the maintenance and cleanliness of the bathrooms and kitchen especially the cooker which requires immediate attention as does the cookware ."
The properly doesn’t appear as advertised as the garden furnishings are very tired and the garden overgrown and unkempt and value for money is very poor as we have stayed with Sykes previously and had a lot better for a lot less
-
"This property is blessed with lots of great areas of outdoor space for friends and families to get together or for even finding space on your own."
The gardens were dog secure and the only down side was the main road, it’s quite a quick rather than busy road but for me this didn’t stop us enjoying our week. Just needed to take care with pets and kids when exiting the front gate. The inside space was perfect for our family and maintained to a really good standard. All of us (5 who stayed) agreed that we wouldn’t hesitate to book again when holidaying in the area.

"The cottage is lovely, a great location and perfectly placed for exploring Anglesey."
The bedding, towels and bathrooms were perfectly clean, we just felt that the living room and kitchen needed a good deep clean, there was a lot of dust! We found a lot of dog hair and dog treats on the floor as well. This wouldn’t stop us staying again though, the view alone from the hot tub more than made up for a bit of mess.
-
"The household be lovely but it desperately needs a deep clean!"
We had to complain to owner about shower overflowing and big dead flies in bedding drapes. To be honest we nearly went straight back home on 1st day. The washer and dishwasher stunk we put the washer on 4 2 empty cycles all of cleaner and lenor but the dishwasher was unusuable

"**Rating: 0/5** SERIOUS ISSUES NOT RESOLVED BY EITHER THE PROPERTY OWNER OR SYKES."
AVOID! The cottage is simply not clean and hasn’t been maintained properly since it was initially restored. There is mould in the showers and kitchen cupboards, a gap in the main door, and the upstairs shower doesn’t drain correctly, causing water to pool in the tray. Various reviews have highlighted these issues in the past, so it is disappointing that the owner hasn’t addressed them. The garden, although lovely and the hot tub is a nice feature, is overgrown, making it challenging to use the facilities. The outdoor table and chairs are unusable. There was a significant amount of dust on all ornaments, and the bedroom curtains were inconsistent—some blackouts, some not (in the same room) making it difficult to sleep as it got light by 5 am. The advert suggests the property has an open fire, which is untrue; it is an electric fire. While the location and views are beautiful, we did not get value for money. I would seriously ask Sykes whether they should continue advertising this property until all issues are resolved. Unfortunately the Sykes customer service team have now been sat on my complaints for 2 months, and Melissa is now refusing to respond to me. I will be perusing a charge back via my credit card company.

"A quirky and deceptively spacious cottage located between Menai and Beaumaris."
The garden area is on three levels with spectacular views across the Menai Strait. The cottage had a well equipped kitchen and the welcome hamper on arrival was a very nice touch. This is a great base from which to explore the island of Anglesey. There is a hotel (Chateau Rhianfa) directly opposite with bar and restaurant and another pub/hotel, "The Gazelle" a short walk down the hill. After exploring the beaches and coves it was nice to return to the cottage and enjoy the hot-tub whilst taking in the views. Highly recommended.
-
"Nice cottage with lovely views of Menai Straights."
Garden area is enclosed so safe for dogs with steps leading up to the hot tub and outside bar area. It is on a very noisy and busy road. It was light very early and the cottage could benefit from better black out blinds/curtains. Great facilities but looking a bit tired, some attention to detail as there were some cobwebs in the cottage. Very nice welcome hamper although fresh coffee in the pack but not cafetiere so we had to buy one. Also no hair dryer in the property. It was our first time to Anglesey and will definitely be back.

"We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage, the views were amazing and the welcome basket and Easter Egg with fizz was a wonderful touch, we did feel the cottage needed a little TLC especially the kitchen, the sink is too far forward which meant you had to lean over the worktop to wash dishes etc."
Which means getting wet a lot, tbh whole kitchen needs an update as it is looking tired, although I would like to point out that if some up-dates were done this property would be spectacular as I'm sure it once was when it was renovated, however, we would come back as it is a lovely cottage in a great location and we had everything we needed, thank you, we had a great Easter break.

"My worst holiday ever :-( Wosp inside the property paint peeling of ."
.. we left the same day as my partner is allergic... Owner sent somebody to look at the problem but the person been bit rude not pleasant at all looking at us like there is no problem at all. There was a lot of wosp outside under the gutter so they must have a nest close but again this person don't even listen us look around for couple of minutes without any explanation or solution ... so we just left .... lost money and time... luckily we found another's last minute property but we spent twice more than we planned . Want recommend this property to my enemy... please avoid

"Thank you for a great week in your beautiful cottage."
The welcoming gifts were amazing! We’ve stayed in a lot of cottages over the years, but the kids said this was the best one yet!
-
"Very good off-road parking, right by the gate of the property."
Property is right by the main road but traffic didn’t bother us at all ( might not be for everybody though). For good weather, plenty of outdoor seating areas with superb views over the straits and beyond. Ideally situated to access travel to all areas of the Island and mainland attractions. Never been to such a well equipped holiday cottage. Only thing I would say is that it would probably be a bit cosy for 6 adults and pets and no wifi may put some people off.
-
"A lovely relaxing cottage, with spectacular views."
We really enjoyed our stay.
-
"This cosy cottage has beautiful views and a wonderful location."
Great selection of treats left for our arrival and the cottage is equipped with everything you could need. The house does need a deep clean and is a little tired.
-
"Lovely place to stay with beautiful views."
Everything you needed was provided .Didn’t want to go home.

"We've just returned from a few nights away at the cottage for a friend's birthday and absolutely loved it."
There were six of us, and the cottage provided plenty of room, with three double rooms (unlike most which have bunk beds or pull outs but say they fit six people) and two bathrooms one of which was an en suite. We arrived to a lovely hamper including chocolates, prosecco and a number of other goodies (including jammie dodgers, which was great for my girlfriend who's vegan) I've seen people complaining that there's no WiFi, but to be honest it was quite peaceful and most of us had signal around the property anyway. The hot tub fit the six of us in no problem and the garden and undercover snug were beautiful. It does take quiet a while for the water to warm up, so don't expect to get in the night of your arrival, but once it does its very relaxing. It's about 5 minutes drive into Menai where there are plenty of pubs and cafes. The Green Olive was our favourite (because it was fully vegan and delicious) All in all, we'd definitely go back again for another visit and further exploration of the beautiful area!
-
"Amazing place nice touches with welcome pack and Prosecco and chocolate’s the garden area is lovely with lots of seating area at top by hot tub is a sun trap with amazing views cannot wait to return."
-
"Fantastic welcome with Chocolates & Prosecco & other goodies!"
Beautiful cottage in great setting. Could have done with wi-fi , but overall excellent.
-
"The location was perfect and the cottage lived up to our expectations we had a lovely break."
Beautiful garden and hot tub in a perfect location overlooking the sea , very pretty in the evening as it’s lit up subtly. A lovely little sheltered hide away provided to with blankets and visions we sat drinking cocktails. Thank you , we will return. Anne-Marie Lancs

"Beautiful setting, cottage & garden - shame the weather was so atrocious but enjoyed just chilling, cooking & reading."
Would love to go back when the weather is better!
-
"Great time."
Well laid out garden although a bit steep if you have walking issues. Perfect position to travel around the island. Waking up to great views across the straits were lovely. Parking a bit tight but manageable. Thank you.

"What a gem of a cottage!"
My family and I stayed at Rhianfa Cottage for a week over Christmas. For the first time in 37 years, I have been away for Christmas and not in the family home, I couldn't have asked for anything better. A lovely homely feel and STUNNING views! Glass of bucks fizz Christmas morning from the hot hub looking over the Menia strait was just fabulous. Very clean cottage, a lovely unexpected welcome hamper on arrival, and all-round a fabulous time. The only downside was no wifi and the TV was very small yet we got on with it and it didn't affect our stay in any way. I would have NO hesitation to recommend this cottage to EVERYONE! Book it as you won't be disappointed!
-
"Rhianfa Cottage was absolutely beautiful, in a fabulous area with lots to do."
It is perfectly positioned for exploring the Menai bridge and Beaumaris area and also Caernafon. The cottage itself is beautifully appointed and lovely and clean, with all the mod cons. The bedrooms are light and airy and the downstairs bedroom had a modern en-suite. The garden is multi-layered terracing with plenty of seating and family areas and at the top, there is a 6-person hot tub and another seating area. It was simply fabulous. I wanted to give this a 5* rating, but the beds were very uncomfortable and in need of new mattresses, and the lighting outside, and up to the hot tub does not work and needs attention. The welcome pack is a nice touch. We will definitely be returning.
-
"Absolutely beautiful cottage."
Gorgeous location. Fabulous views. Welcome hamper was an unexpected surprise and a lovely touch. Arriving to find the door wide open with the keys in the lock was a bit disconcerting.
-
"The property had all the amenities to make it fantastic, but sadly the cleanliness really let it down."
Surface cleaned only I'd assume as there were cobwebs and dust all over the place, fake flowers with years of dust on them, pictures, mirrors the same. Internet didn't work either, and the remote for the electric fire was missing so couldn't use that either. The mattress in the main room also has 2 huge dips where you sleep so it's not the most comfortable bed. A real shame as the location, view and amenities of the property had been let down by a lack of care to show it off to its best.
-
"A lovely cottage with wonderful views from the hot tub and the plenty of seating areas around the really pretty gardens."
The upstairs rooms were very spacious and beautifully decorated but the bedroom downstairs was quite small and we had nowhere to store our clothes... Having said that, it was quite comfortable and it was handy to have the ensuite loo and shower room. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge was very cosy and comfortable. The owner left a very generous welcome pack which was a lovely surprise.
-
"We were absolutely thrown away at how stunning this cottage was."
Beautiful gardens and the views are amazing. Hot tub location and little wooden hut up there was amazing. Lots of little details like blankets and hot water bottles were so lovely. The only downside is the cottage would benefit from some wifi as i was with my teenage daughters and they drove me mad haha. We were left a hamper on arrival and some Prosecco and wine ! So so lovely. I’m thinking of booking again for next year. It’s a beautiful cottage and it had everything we needed and more.
-
"We were pleasantly surprised at how lovely the cottage was as we read a few reviews that nearly put us off booking it!"
It’s a beautiful place where the cottage is situated, the views are amazing and we recommend taking some binoculars so you can nosey at the boats that pass by. We were a family of four plus a dog and there was ample room inside and outside, the hot tub is in an ideal place to relax and watch the world go by. There was a fabulous hamper of goodies plus wine on our arrival which was lovely. It’s near the lovely town of Beaumaris which is full of nice cafes and shops etc, the pier was very popular for crabbing. The one thing we feel would be a big improvement would be blinds on the Velux windows in each bedroom as it was so light in the morning waking us up early. The two upstairs bedrooms are really nice, nice big beds and lots of room. The downstairs bedroom not nearly as nice and did smell a bit musty but it was ok for one person as a small room. Additionally the TV was very small and not a great picture on it, however it made us read more and not watch as much tv so it was a positive in a way. The living room is really comfortable and seemed to have a new set of couches which were nice and comfy. All in all we would stay here again as in such a great spot and the views are wonderful.
-
"We loved the location of the cottage and outdoor terraced areas."
The views were gorgeous. The hot tub was a particular hit with our group. The amenities also met our expectations. We also really appreciated the very generous welcome basket after our journey. Whilst the cottage was clean, we did feel it could do with a deep clean. Some of the furnishings were very dusty and the downstairs bedroom showed some signs of damp e.g. on the lampshade. The main bedroom will need a new mattress soon as it seemed to be towards the end of it's time. We didnt mind no wifi as it was clearly advertised at point of booking and we like a digital detox whilst away. Overall a great location and cottage for a relaxing break.
-
"Gorgeous place, close to lots of amazing places."
Lovely gardens, full of nterest and plenty of places to look out on to the amazing views. Thank you for the complimentary fruit, chocolate and coffee etc, a lovely touch. Peter was super helpful if we needed anything and easy to contact. We would have loved a coffee machine or a bigger cafetière. It was a shame the wii fi was not working as we all had a bit of work/study to do., The rooms get light very early so an eye mask might be worth taking. Overall a lovely stay in a beautiful place. Thank you

"A beautiful little cottage with stunning views."
We arrived for our stay to a lovely welcome hamper, bottle of bubbles and some chocolates. Each room was decorated lovely and had its own character. We did look around but there wasn’t any instructions / comments left in the property which I think would’ve been useful as we didn’t know the area and with the property not having Wi-Fi I could look things up. Our first night was lovely and the additional touches of fairy lights in the garden were really great. We stayed in the master bedroom at the front of the property. One negative thing I would say is that this property is on a busy main road and the hotel opposite often has deliveries etc so we woke up to a loud lorry reversing and the cars speeding down the road - this isn’t something anyone could sleep through and we had the windows closed so many double glazing to shield some of that noise? There was sufficient bedding and towels left which were great as well as cleaning supplies in the kitchen! We spent most evenings in the hot tub enjoying the view and with the beautiful garden it felt so secluded and private it was wonderful. As mentioned earlier with the instructions, we left the property clean and emptied the indoor bin etc but there were no specifics left.. it wasn’t until I got home and had Wi-Fi again that an email came through from Sykes with checkout instructions.. this was a gap. I would suggest getting Wi-Fi or leaving clear instructions for checking out. All in all, We had a wonderful stay and I would love to visit again.
-
"Fantastic cottage!"
Would almost say perfect if it had Wi-Fi and a larger TV but that said all the extras the owner had done, especially the basket of food, were a nice touch. Without doubt strongly recommend for a lovely, relaxing holiday.
-
"We enjoyed our stay on the whole, the cottage was quirky but I felt it needed a deep clean."
The main areas were clean but it could do with a freshen up generally. The car parking spot was definitely unsuitable for unloading the car safely and I wouldn’t have liked getting children in and out of a car on that busy road. We had no television service, and decided to come home early cutting our stay short by 3 days.
-
"A great cottage."
Great location. Lovely outlook. WiFi would be useful and tablets to keep hot tub clean. Nice welcome touched. Hope to be back soon
-
"Great location."
.hot tub good nice touches with the various seating areas outside. Great idea with bar/viewing area by hot tub. Inside was nicely decorated with plenty of space for us. The kitchen area was well equipped. The front bedroom (4 poster bed) could do with a new mattress and also Wifi would be good.
-
"Lacking some basic items - salt and pepper for example."
Basic utensils in kitchen. The two sofas in the living room were absolutely wrecked and possibly the most uncomfortable I have ever sat on. The house in general needs some basic maintenance - decking boards rotten front door does not close properly leaving a 8mm gap at the top for the fraught to blow through. Lots of nice touches and lovely welcome pack. Cottage was damp and heating not very effective. Having said all that we go on holiday with the intention to gave a good time which we did.
-
"Loved our stay away!"
Gorgeous cottage in a lovely setting for exploring locally. Couldn’t get enough of the views each morning over a coffee.
-
"Property is lovely with fabulous views of the Menai Straits."
Split level garden for dining, dri ks and hot tub overlooking the water. Some refurb required in lounge and damp issues in the bedrooms need addressing. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay.
-
"Lovely week with glorious weather."
This cottage has made a huge effort with the outside, there are lots of nice seating areas available at different levels, most with a fantastic view over the Menai Straits. The hot tub is very private but enables you to have a fabulous view whilst enjoying the spa with a drink. We were lucky to have fabulous weather all week so enjoyed the outside space. The steps make it not accessible for older guests or small children. Unfortunately the description of the cottage does not highlight the road it is on, and the traffic noise is all day and then through to late evening, parking is also tricky especially when you have two vehicles like we did. The cottage itself has a well equipped kitchen, and a really nice upstairs with two double bedrooms and a nice bathroom. Downstairs it needs new furniture in its lounge and to sort out the damp small bedroom.
-
"We have just returned from a week in the cottage, had a fabulous time with the lucky weather we had."
The outside space, terrace, hot tub and views are wonderful. We made the most of being out there! Really nice touch was arriving to many hamper snacks, bread, jams, crisps, chocolates and bottles of bubbles and Buck’s Fizz! We struggled a little with the cleaniness of some parts of the cottage, not all. The bathroom shower cubicles had mucky walls and the downstairs smaller bedroom was extremely damp. It must have a leak somewhere as there are water stains on the ceiling and walls ( main bathroom is directly above this bedroom) from previous leaks and a mould build up on the child’s high chair which was stored in this room. This room also had a stale smell unfortunately. That said, it’s a lovely location and with a few small cleaning and maintainable changes it’s a gem of a cottage!
-
"Was dirtying and dusty no WiFi and the hot tub was horribly dirty ."
... I have photos of when we arrived
-
"It’s a gorgeous cottage, one of the rooms is tiny so probs best for a single person to stay in the downstairs room."
No shops or places to get food from in the immediate vicinity so you’ll need to plan meals ahead or take stuff with you. There’s a second cottage attached to the back of this. We managed to get a noise complaint from them so probably not the best place to go if you want to drink and chill with a few mates. Owner lives right behind and he occasionally stuck his head in. He ended up stropping because we took the wrong blankets outside (apparently there’s inside and outside blankets) I would recommend labelling them. All in all great place, owner is actually lovely, but it reminded me of going away with a chaperone. Would recommend to couples looking for a very quiet weekend.
-
"Great location with views over the Menai straits and snowdonia mountains."
Garden is a sun trap and hot tub is Perfectly situated For said views. Nice touches of food hamper and wine! Terraced garden not suitable for children or those with mobility difficulties. Front door didn’t lock. House was clean but not spotless.
-
"Says big enough for 6 but that would have been a very tight squeeze for 6 adults as the downstairs bedroom is tiny we only ended up being 4 for the weekend and then 3 for the rest of the stay which worked out well."
On initial sight the cottage looks lovely, the upstairs is very well presented but downstairs lets it down, it needs a complete revamp. The bedroom is very damp, we wondered why all the windows were open when we arrived but we now know why! The lounge needs an overhaul, it is very cramped and the sofas are well past their best, you sink into them when you sit down. It is a lovely place just needs a little love showing to the downstairs.
-
"Beautiful location with stunning views from the garden and hot tub."
...lots of different seating areas. The cottage has all you need and has some nice detail and touches which is lovely. Definitely recommend.
-
"We were a party of 6 me my partner, my daughter her partner and two young children."
The cottage was perfect for us - well appointed - kids slept in the downstairs bedroom with their own en-suite and adults used the two beautifully furnished upstairs rooms. The bathroom was stunning. The cottage was well equipped with a lovely welcome basket to greet us. The gardens were so pretty a.though the hot tub wasn’t in use that didn’t really bother us. The views from the cottage were stunning and it was a joy to come home to every evening. Even though it is late on in the year we were still able to have drinks outside early evening and I guess it would be near perfect in the summer . We all enjoyed our week very much even though England lost the Rugby World Cup to RSA
-
"We booked a hottub holiday what we got was a disgusting dirty soft tub which was still broken from feedback left in august."
the double glazing does nothing to stop the noise from the road and the consistent unloading of refrigeration lorries to the hotel. The main bedroom bed and both sofas need replacing. There is no freezer in the cottage. A small one is located outside up 3flights of stairs in a grotty shed handy when you want an icecube... And really no WiFi unbelievable.
-
"I received a phone call today telling me that the owner noticed we had been using the hot tub and that the owner did not want it to be used at this time of year."
When I booked the property the week before, the property included the hot tub and didn't say anything about the time of year restrictions. When we arrived we received a welcome basket, which had all the manuals and instructions to all appliances and hot tub. The tub was not filled when we arrived which we thought was because it had just been cleaned. We were very disappointed we had to fill and wait 36 hours until we could use the tub-specially when it was advertised as available. We thought oh well, with the views and how well presented and welcomed we felt, then it's just one of those things. We arrived on monday and now on thursday when are over half way through our stay (we leave saturday) the owner comes round when we have popped out, then contacts you to contact us to tell us off. I did receive an apology from Abigail your staff member for contacting me about the owners concerns. Think its bad that the owner comes round to check up on you, not very relaxing and now has really upset my/our visit and experience. There was no need to contact us we had done nothing wrong and I had to take time out of my holiday to try and get through to your office and be put on hold. Not relaxing and a violation of privacy. I was raving about this property and location to my family and friends, taking pictures and saying everyone you need to come and stay here!!... now I dont think I will be returning! After being falsely accused and the lack of privacy. I hope this does get feed back to the owner and I would like a response as this has now really disturbed my holiday and the other guests. Is someone just going to turn up again without warning? Kind regards Katie Higgins
-
"The cottage was presented lovely and the welcome basket was a nice touch to receive on arrival."
But there was a strong damp smell in the downstairs bedroom and visible damp in the adjoining ensuite meaning my two children had to share one of the upstairs bedrooms (meaning less sleep for them and myself and partner). The cottage had lots of heavy cobwebs in most rooms which we could have dealt with. But the real issue was the hot tub... It's filter, jets and lights did not work for our entire stay and given it wasn't warm enough to use for long on our first night meant 24 hours later the water was murky and on our last night you could feel and see scum and slime on the water's surface. This was a luxury we were wanting to take full advantage of and couldn't. So we effectively had a standard 2 bedroom cottage without any extras but were charged for a 3 bedroom cottage with luxury hot tub.
-
"No blinds in the upstairs bedrooms, come sunrise 5."
30am it's daylight in the room, had to go out and buy 4 eye masks. Far to many cushions, 17 in the front room, 18 in the upstairs bedrooms! Very cluttered front room, house has so much potential but is used poorly with terrible furniture choice. Downstairs bedroom stunk of damp. Duct tape on the cracked toilet, loose bathroom taps. No wifi all week. Nice house but bit annoyed it wasn't up to scratch.
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback we appreciate it. The issues have been dealt with although one thing to note is that Rhianfa Cottage does not have WIFI. Property Owner

"We had the best holiday in years."
The cottage was beautiful, such attention to detail. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. The family and dog settled in well and we were able to use the cottage as a base to travel all over North Wales. It’s location was on a busy road but this didn’t cause us any problems. The well equipped kitchen meant that we were able to eat in as well as out. The hot tub and the outside spaces were a real bonus. Apart from the lack of WiFi (teenagers were traumatised

"Exceptional !"
!
-
"Brilliant week loved the cottage and location great base to get around to visit places and weather was good we went all over anglesey and visited a few other places on mainland ."
Can't fault menai holidays that's why we have booked again for 2020 . To another cottage in north Wales. We would recomend menai holidays .
-
"The cottage was lovely with stunning views."
Sofas probably need replacing also if 5 plus people were staying there wouldn’t be adequate seating. Bed in front master bedroom is very uncomfortable, mattress needs replacing which is such a shame as the master bedroom is gorgeous. Welcome basket is a lovely touch. Personally wouldn’t book this cottage again unless mattress was changed. Love Menai holidays though and will continue to book every year
-
"Nice cottage but the very busy road was a bit of a problem."
The basket of food was a nice touch
-
"The cottage had been renovated but to a poor standard and was tarted up with accessories."
The cottage was small and the dining table was under the stairs along with cleaning equipment, two chairs would not fit under the length of the table. The mattress in the main bedroom needs replacing, mentioned before in visitors book. The cottage needs blinds which are not broken, as the curtains are for effect and the lights from the road keep you awake. The fairy lights on the bushes outside also kept my daughter awake as there was no blind at the window. Deliveries to the Chateau were very noisy and some very early in the morning. The extractor in the downstairs bedroom is very noisy when there is any wind. The master bedroom doors would not shut properly and almost blew open when there was a wind. The front door was difficult to lock! Having to wash Dirty pans in the oven did not add to the experience. The welcome hamper would have been a nice touch had the cottage lived up to our expectations. We are used to high standards set by Yorkshire Cottages.
We are so sorry to hear that Rhianfa was not to your taste. We do try to take accurate pictures of all the areas in use, such as the dining table so that you can assess whether it would be right for your needs. We will, of course, alert the owners to any maintenance reported and we're pleased that you enjoyed the owner's very generous welcome hamper. If you ever need assistance picking the right cottage for your wants and needs then please do not hesitate to give us a call. Property Owner

"Amazing cottage with breath taking views."
..hot tub was superb
-
"This is the fifth time we have stayed in this cottage and whilst we love the views etc, it's now quite tired in places."
The dishwasher only did a cold wash do we had to resort to washing up ourselves as the machine didn't clean or dry them. The cooker takes 45mins to heat up. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom needs a big overhaul as it's very damp and the bedding and clothes feel damp.
-
"Wonderful views have been to this same cottage a few times as it’s location is brilliant."
Garden needs sorting but everything great
-
"Beautiful, welcoming cosy cottage full of quirks."
Highly recommend.
-
"It was a bit smaller than we thought it would be and the pics were a little deceiving."
We hadn’t seen pictures of the hot tub and assumed it would be a hard bodied tub like we have at home but it wasn’t.
-
"Lovely week with family recommend if booking yiu go foe the hot tub"
It's lovely to hear you enjoyed your stay at Rhianfa Cottage, it is in a really special corner of Anglesey, and the pictures look great! we hope you come back to North Wales soon Property Owner
-
"This is a beautiful cottage, very well equipped with its own private hot tub and parking space."
We arrived to find a welcome hamper which was a nice surprise. The only real negative point is the noise from the road which does wake you up quite early. There is also a hotel directly across the road which has lorry deliveries from 6am. The main bedrooms would also benefit from having blinds fitted on the skylight windows.
Thank you so much and glad you enjoyed Rhianfa and those great views over the Menai Strait that can be seen from the hot tub! Your comments are very helpful.

The front bedroom, which benefits from fantastic sea views, is really special.
It has white-washed floorboards, a white four-poster bed and matching furniture, and a wrought iron terrace to sit out on.
The other double bedroom is at the back of the house and continues the white, almost fairytale theme.
There is a large family bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate bath.
The multi-level garden enjoys wonderful views over the Menai Strait.
It has a decking area with garden furniture and a hot tub for relaxing under the stars! Rhianfa Cottage is in a great spot if you wish to be near plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants.
Menai Bridge is just five minutes along the coast, and Beaumaris is the same in the opposite direction.
Be sure to visit the Janet Bell Gallery in Beaumaris and the superb Central Bakery.
Menai Bridge has lots of shops and cafes.
We recommend tea and a cake at Pot Jam after a walk under the famous Thomas Telford Bridge! If you don't fancy jumping in the car, then The Gazelle is a short walk from the house, and is a really great spot to sit and watch the boats sail past while enjoying a drink or a bite to eat.
For golfers, there are two great courses within a ten minute drive. Guests are advised that as the hot tubs need to be cleaned and emptied for each new set of guests, the water may not be fully up to temperature on the first evening of their stay.
