  • "This is a lovely cosy cottage in a perfect location."

The pebble beach and coastal path are a few steps away from the cottage. Watching the beautiful sunsets and the rabbits in the field, from the kitchen window was a treat. The cottage is very well equipped and absolutely spotless. We found the bed to be a little uncomfortable, but then we like a very firm mattress and I suppose you can't meet everyone's needs. We had such a lovely time that I have recommended this cottage to a family member. Moelfre village is idyllic (we have stayed in Moelfre a few times previously and always enjoy our stay). Make sure you visit the little wool shop if you enjoy crafting and Wednesday curry night at The Kinmel Arms is a winner (it gets busy so book ahead). The RNLI team are also very welcoming if you want to pop in to the RNLI lifeboat station. We had a wonderful 4 days and would definitely be booking again.

We feel so privileged to have spent a week here and wish we were staying longer. Everything we could possibly need is in this beautiful cottage so tastefully renovated - your grandparents would be proud of what you’ve achieved, we loved reading the history. Thank you for creating this haven and allowing us to share it. Watching seals, a sunrise and the practise lifeboat launch were special memories we’ll take from our visit. We’ll be back to Minnehaha when our dates match up. Felt sad to leave but happy we’ve been. Thanks again.

  • "Overall cottage was clean and well equipped."

Had a lovely holiday. Some small tweaks would have made it brilliant. Would have preferred a higher powered shower as the one fitted is quite low pressured. A slightly larger more comfortable sofa would be appreciated. Stayed in most of the day on one occasion due to bad weather and the sofa became quite uncomfortable when sitting for longer periods of time. Heaters only just cope with keeping the property warm on cold days. I’m sure perfectly adequate most of the year. We stayed beginning of February, temperatures were quite low a couple of nights and very windy. Definitely needed the stove on those nights. Position of cottage is stunning, right on the coast.

The views from Minnehaha were stunning, across the sea to Penmon Point Lighthouse, the Great Orme Llandudno, and snow capped Snowdonia mountains. Sitting outside on the little bistro set, was so relaxing.
