  • "This house was amazing with fabulous views over the countryside and a well appointed kitchen dining living room."

Paul the owner was helpful on our arrival via text to alter the heating for seven though he himself was away. Fantastic stay with friends we throughly recommend this property. JR

  • "Bryn Aber is a modern, clean, bright, stylish and spacious property in a peaceful location with a beautiful view."

We loved seeing the rabbits hopping about in the morning, the colourful sunsets and the numerous stars at night. The furnishings are beautiful and we appreciated the Janet Bell paintings in each room. The games room was also such a fun addition to the house. The owner Paul was friendly and helpful and checked we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful family holiday and we highly recommend staying here.

  • "Beautiful house in a quiet and peaceful location, with some local walks near by,and a gorgeous beach less than 10 minutes drive away."

Could do with a few more pans as only 1 and maybe blinds on windows at back but everything else was great.

  • "Lovely well quipped and spotlessly clean ."

Ideal for a multi generational holiday. Maybe bring a couple of camping chairs to enjoy the great views at back of property of fields and forest and fantastic sunsets. Newborough beach well worth a visit and if the tide is low to Llanddwyn Island to see the lighthouse. Great walks through Newborough Forest. Village has a well stocked shop , the Codmother is great for fish and chips and all can recommend the Squirrel Cafe and White Lion Pub . Owner Paul had left lots of useful information and was in contact when we arrived to check everything was ok . I would definitely recommend this property.

  • "Bryn Aber is an extremely modern, luxurious house near Newborough Beach on Anglesey."

The house is very spacious with huge open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room downstairs and five big bedrooms with comfy beds and loads of storage. The underfloor heating was easily controlled by contacting the owner who turned it down remotely for us. There are two modern ovens, one being a combination microwave, a massive fridge and a massive freezer and a superb modern hob. No need for a kettle as it has an instant boiler tap. The TV was the biggest we have ever seen! There is also a utility room with washer and a big games room with table tennis and table football... great fun for our family get together. If you want absolute luxury for a large family the this is the place on Anglesey. Superb 10 out of 10.

  • "House is wonderful and in a perfect location."

Spotlessly clean and very moderns. Only down side was not enough seating in lounge for the full 12 - needs another couple of chairs to socialise. Also big downside was lack of cooking equipment- tiny pans, only 1 wooden spoon and no serving spoons or casserole dishes. Nothing to cater for 12 people. Which was a shame as we like cooking big family meals and we brought food we just couldn’t cook. Apart from that the stay was perfect! Would highly recommend

A stunning property in a great location! Informative owner who was very helpful when needed. Enjoyed a glass of wine whilst watching the sun go down! Our grandchildren (and the adults!) loved the games room. A lovely place to relax for a week. Thank you!

  • "Bryn Aber is a lovely property that is very close to a wonderful beach at Newborough."

The property is modern and well equipped and our grandkids had fun in the games room, the beds are comfortable albeit could do with more pillows, we brought our own. It had parking for 4 cars and importantly for me it had an EV charger. The area surrounding the property is quiet with great sunsets at the back of the property over farmland where the local cattle get up close and personal. 10 of us over 3 generations stayed at the property with plenty of space. It had modern appliances and I liked the short tuition videos rather than an armful of manuals to read through. So all in all it is a lovely property in a good area, as our party had family members with disabilities it was great to have a downstairs bedroom, and purely as a personal preference to make the property exceptional and more comfortable I think it would benefit from blinds on the superb bi-folding doors as it hit 30c inside the property as the sun sets at the rear and it was really hot a too bright for the kids to watch TV and my wife who is on oxygen struggled with the heat in there, I would have loved to see more comfortable seating both outdoor and indoor so that we could sit outside and enjoy the view on comfortable loungers in the shade of the trees for those who have comfort issues. The seating inside is ok but not the most comfortable or supportive. As I say these are just a few suggestions to make it even better and we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it, the owner was friendly and nice to deal with and Sykes are always lovely to deal with too. So thank you for a nice week of great weather in a nice location.

  • "An absolutely beautiful house in a gorgeous setting."

The nearby Newborough beach is amazing, especially in the warmer months but that is also when it gets busier. The house was immaculate and had all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. It is much bigger than it appears on the photographs. Would highly recommend this house!

Host was easy to contact and fixed an issue straight away. Although there were no cots/highchairs I contacted the host and was happy for us to bring ouf own, so maybe this could be an option of providing, there was no iron or clothes airer this would havd helped as we had 4 Yr old and 9 month old twins so needed to wash their clothes and drying them.on wet day. We all had an amazing time and made lots of wonderful memories. Karen

  • "Great house, great location and we had great luck with the weather!"

Would happily come back in more usual North Wales weather though - access to Newborough forest/beach by bike or on foot is priceless. Only real gripe is Friday changeover - hit heavy commuter traffic in both directions and of course needs an extra day of annual leave. Please change to Saturday! Otherwise very highly recommended.

The property

This property sits beautifully on the edge of Newborough Forest and Beach, a 6000-acre protected National Nature Reserve, of which the beach is said to be one of the most beautiful in the UK.

The main beach and LLanddwyn Island can be accessed on foot through the reserve, via a public footpath across the field behind the house and Malltreath beach is an even shorter walk away, no need to even cross a road!

There is a large car park directly on the main beach, for families who not wish to walk!

The Wales Coast Path is also accessed on foot, and the Lon Las bike track is within walking distance from the house.

The rear of the property overlooks the mostly untouched Bodorgan Estate, one of the only three houses that can be seen from the back of the house, was previously home to a famous Royal couple, considered to be their son Prince George’s first home.

If you’re lucky you might see them visiting with the family!

The vista from the huge bifold doors overlooks the woodland and Malltreath Estuary.

Dinas, and resident Osprey, can be seen in summer frequently from the breakfast table, along with plenty of other interesting wildlife.

If red squirrels are your thing, these can be spotted too, one of the few places in the UK to come and see them.

For bid-lovers, there are various RSBP managed areas in Anglesey, with Malltreath, Cors Ddyga and South Stack.

You’ve guessed it, Anglesey is one of the top UK locations for birdwatching.

All manner of watersports can be enjoyed in our crystal-clear water’s moments away from the house, with Newborough and Rhosneigr being two of the best for windsurfing, kitesurfing, wing foiling, kayaking, paddle boarding, surfing, rib rides, the list is endless!

All the kit can be hired in Rhosneigr too, watch out for Seals and Dolphins.

The Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park can be reached by a scenic car journey, which boasts many amazing things including the highest peak in England and Wales and many attractions such as the fastest zip wire in Europe, and a perfect wave to surf 365 days of the year!

In my opinion, there is nowhere else on the planet where you can be deep in such beautiful mountains in the morning, and on a lovely beach in the afternoon!

For your amenities, there is a corner shop, friendly pub, and a fish and chip shop all located in the village, within a short walking distance.

There are many other great quality places to eat out nearby with Rhosneigr down the road and why not overlook the amazing Menai Straights whilst dining in Menai Bridge?

For a wonderful getaway, choose Bryn Aber.
